Dropped a lost cat off here. They jumped through hoops to find the owner, did all of the phone calls to figure it out (microship was previous owner so they had to make a few calls to get the cat to it's owner)The staff are amazing, very personable, and always happy to be with animals. Very helpful and clean rooms. You can be sure your loved pet is well looked after

Good staff, but clearly the consensus of the community believe they behave as a business model as opposed to a balanced, genuine compassionate approach between owner and animal. I agree and relate through experiences with that reciprocated feeling of the community.

Unbelievably misleading and very poor customer service. Asked for a script of 28 tabs, they confirmed it before writing it up, never mentioned they're only giving 7 so I paid the $65 for it only to get home and see they've only dispensed 7, which costs just as much as the 28 would. If you want a vet that will mislead you and find any way to charge more for the already very expensive, long term medication of your animal go here, if you want a vet that will help you reduce costs rather than shortening scripts to make it much more expensive, go elsewhere.

I have found them to always be friendly and professional. Recently in our heartbreaking time of having to say goodbye to our beloved friend they went out of thier way in the most compassionate way, cannot praise them enough.

The best vet for our whippet Mimi she unfortunately has had to have 2 rounds of stitches for 2 seperate injuries and the vets and team were so lovely and kind. Bec and Mel were amazing with Mimi and I can’t fault our experience. Thank you for taking care of Mimi x

Throughout my girl Lily's illness, everyone I had contact with at Companion Animal Vets has helped me process and manage from a dark place to the other side.

Vet looked like he didn’t want to be there, didn’t pat or speak kindly to dog, very expensive for what was done, vet nurses were nice though ..

A few years ago our dog had heat stroke , mark was amazing and against all odds saved her , on the other hand our other dog had a cough ,we made an appointment and when we arrived it was very busy , Mel sent us to a private room as our dog was constantly coughing very loudly , after a while she came in and put a stethoscope on her chest , did not look in her mouth and was rushing , she diagnosed her with tonsillitis and sent us away with meds. That night she was struggling to breathe and we rushed her to the after hours pet hospital and she was then diagnosed with a collapsing trachea, we were given steroids but unfortunately as soon as we had to cut the dosage down as recommended by the vet , she lost her fight and passed through the night . I am very upset because we should not have been rushed and she should have been diagnosed properly the first time , x rays should have been taken , instead 1 . She could still be with us with treatment and 2 . It end us costing us a fortune for after hours costs . Not only this when I called the day after as asked to , I was told the report had not come in from the pet hospital and as soon as it came in Mel would call , by the afternoon I rang the vet hospital and they said they had sent the report in the previous night ! So I called back and told the girl who answered the phone at pet companion and she said she would ask Mel to call me , 5 mins later she called me saying the report had just come in ( so not true ) . Had she just said I’m sorry I’ve been run off my feet all day I would have accepted that but not a lie . I no longer have any pets as the older one passed of old age and do not plan on getting any more as the heart break is too much to bear
