Room was dated, compact but very clean and functional. Bed was hard but comfortable ... just the way we liked it. Check in was efficient and friendly. Location was downtown and very close to everything we needed. No complaints and we will definitely stay here again.

Great motel in Beechworth. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. The day I stayed there was plenty of parking on site, The staff were friendly and my room was quiet. The motel is located central to the main shopping precinct, so only a five minute walk to cafes and shops.

Clean and tidy rooms, all basics provided even hair dryer and stand fan if you get hot at night.Stone/gravel car park area. Small Pool but sauna out of service.

I booked in a ground floor queen room.The room was simple, clean and reasonably modern. The reception lady even put the heater on earlier so when I arrived, the room was nice and warm. The only down side was that my room faced the garden area and a large group of people sat in the gardens, smoking, drinking and laughing really loudly, clearly with no regard for anyone else around them.Aside from that, the bed was surprisingly comfortable for a hotel and I slept very well. The bathroom facilities were good although the shower tiles felt a little uneven under my feet.If I'm ever planning another trip to Beechworth, I will gladly stay here again, however they do book up quickly, so I strongly advise booking in advance, especially for weekends.

Absolutely wonderful, comfortable beds, pillows, and good quality linen. Very clean, very friendly, free off street parking, great location. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, rooms a little dated and dark.

I stayed at this place for one night. Unfortunately I was bitten by a spider on the forehead during the night. Not a very pleasant experience as I don’t know what type of spider it was. Trying to find a doctor is almost impossible. Telehealth was the only option. The closest hospital is in Wangaratta or Mertylford(private). No chemist 24/7. So quite daunting for myself. I rang the property to give them a heads up of my dilemma who were sorry but could not do anything. I was not happy with their response as I am now feeling unwell due to the bite and the staff were unsympathetic to my situation. I would not recommend this accommodation place.

We stayed here as we had booked a ghost tour at Mayday asylum. This place was perfect for what we needed it for. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean. It was also situated close to the ghost tour. Would definitely recommend

Well kept motel, nice room , bottom of main street..easy walk to retail. Could cook b' fast had toaster, jug..

The previous reviews are on target.Our room was “compact” & dated, but very clean. The bed was comfortable. It suited our needs very well.The only thing I will say, hence the 4 stars, is the cost of $150 a night. It is a bit steep for what you get.
