Brilliant service, food tasty, plus it came out fast and hot! Sunday night of a long weekend, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. So much better than the experience we had at the other pub in town. 100% our choice for a good meal in Goolwa.

Great pub food, chef came to the table for follow up on the meal. Bit of a wait for lunch but there were 2 big groups so not a problem. Would recommend.

I used to love eating at the Corio however last night's dinner was a disappointment. We both had roast of the day which was beef. It wasn't a nice bit of beef, more like a cheap cut. Not tender, needed a steak knife to cut through it. Seasoning on beef was ok. Parsnip & carrot were a bit dry & woody. Only green was baby broccoli. Potato was nice. No Yorkshire pudding! Garlic bread has changed from being crunchy toasted slices to thick bread just like you get from a pizza take out. Staff were friendly. I preferred the old management. Not worth $24

What an absolute turn around! If you haven’t visited this venue in the last month then you need to! The quality and service is exceptional, the value for money is on point! The new management clearly know how to run a good country pub, we will be back!

This place had pretty ordinary TripAdvisor reviews but we were here a few years ago and loved it so came back. We we started with bread rolls that were undercooked and cold in the middle. I had the lamb shanks and they were beautiful. Unfortunately I was the only one who enjoyed their meal, schnitzels I guess are pre-cooked but were lukewarm, chips were definitely pre-cooked and were old and dry. Pretty disappointing on a whole as the meals were fairly expensive.

Had dinner at The Corio Sunday night. Wanting to try it out as a new resident to Goolwa. Brandon our server was so friendly, professional and made us feel welcomed and at home. The food servings were generous and the meals were delicious! I had a parmi and my partner had the lamb shanks. It’s unlike me to finish my whole meal but I had to in this instance because it was so good. We will be back!

Our family had dinner at Corio Hotel last night. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. Staff were friendly, but that's where it ends. After waiting more than an hour for our meals on what was not a busy night, what we got was definitely not what was promised on the menu. The barramundi was dry, as were the lamb shanks. Shanks were also fatty, tasteless and supposed to come with mash potato and veg. What was delivered was no mash (replaced with chips?) and 2 pieces of carrot. Kids nugget meal was equally disappointing, not sure how you can get chips and nuggets wrong. The chips were mushy and cold and the nuggets just mush in crumbs. High end pricing for terrible pub food with all adult meals purchased around $35 per meal.I would suggest giving this a wide berth. Shame, because it is a nice old country pub and does have potential.
