AGL are the worst company I've ever had to deal with! You can never never get through to a human and if a miracle happens and you get to talk to one - they promise to look into your issue and you never hear from them again until they are demanding more money you don't owe them!!!

was on the phone with them for over an hour and a half and was transferred through 4 people. people were meant to come set up the electricity in the morning but didn't end up coming due to being unsure if they had the right house, no one called me telling me about this issue until I called and asked why they didn't come. some people on the phone were helpful but others were not helpful at all. do not recommend using AGL Energy.

Changes electrical rates every 3 months with gradual increases to fees and service feeds. Decided to upgrade solar and install a battery to help save long term costs and generate my own electricity only to be messed around even further. Changed to Alinta and im saving $300 a year!

Switched to AGL NBN. Worst ISP ever. Continual DNS timeouts and speed varies wildly. In switching internet they also changed my electricity plan without consent. Put me on a plan that only give 5c solar feed-in, used to have 12c feed-in. They wouldn't change it back. Have now left AGL NBN (Southern Phone) and now gone back to Superloop. No DNS issues now. Will move electricity as soon as Tesla deal ends. Never again AGL!

Switched my mobile to AGL got my sim 2 weeks ago and still no service. 4 hours of phone calls and no resolution. Losing work, important personal communication.. but they assure me every time I call that theyre “working on it”. I think they have a different definition of working to the rest of us. How hard is it to activate a SIM??

Awful and dishonest company.Every year they change you to a worse plan without you requesting a change. Even though the better plan is still available.Then they email saying we know it's hard times blah..."They need to be penalised for intentionally financially harmful practices.I have solar

Wish I could give zero stars. Worst service ever. I have been waiting a whole week for electricity to be connected with one error after another made by AGL staff. I recomend using any other provider if you have an option.

Absolutely pathetic customer service, more like customer disservice. 4 phone calls and still won’t reassess current bill at a concessional rate. Continue to receive debt notices and threats. Ombudsman now involved.Yvette D’Ath

Trying to get a refund of a credit I have with AGL, oh my god, are they making it hard. Also there payments area obviously isn't in Australia as they only reply to emails at night, I'm assuming India, not happy giving bank details to someone in another country. I am having the worst time trying to get MY $900 back. Mine not theirs.

I would give zero stars if I could, had been with them 7 years out of nowhere upped my bill smoothing in a low electricity household to $368 a fortnight when I called to cancel they said I owed a back payment of $1900 (out of NOWHERE) to them??? Nothing has changed here with electricity used, makes zero sense plus never paid anywhere near in my life.They refused a manageable repayment option 2 and a half hours later on the phone & in 3 days (thismorning) I wake up to 1600.82 overdrawn from my account from them??? The bill is due in 8 days ???? So hence this review, im changing companies now. AVOID these crooks!
