Hamish has been brilliant helping me prepare for my kitchen renovation. Today he upgraded the switchboard in my 1960s flat and left everything clean and tidy at the end. I was pleased with the price too!Hamish has gone far above and beyond other electricians in explaining the core issues and methodically working through the options to arrive at the best and safest solution for me. Others told me my only option was another gas cooktop, but I don't want a cooktop that runs on polluting fossil-fuel energy. I want to turn off my domestic gas supply altogether, in an effort along with other like-minded people, to give young people a chance at a safe and healthy future.Initially, Hamish explained that to cater for an induction cooktop, it could cost $10,000 + to increase the power supply to my flat from the street, but this option was prohibitively expensive for me.Hamish then worked with me over several weeks via email to find an induction cooktop that would not to trip the existing 16 amp circuit. I'd find a cooktop I liked online and would then email Hamish the specs to see if it fitted the bill. Given I did not have any more switches available on my switchboard to power a 4 zone induction cooktop, I managed to find some suitable, quality two-zone induction options for my kitchen reno. I don't need 4 zones as I never use more than two at once. So I'm absolutely thrilled. A kitchen company recommended Hamish to me and I'm so pleased they did. Great job at a great price by a great guy!
