Tried to purchase a new head part for a vacuum cleaner. Bought what was described as the upholstery cleaner part on their website (it did not have a photo for that item), and was sent carpet cleaning fluid. Contacted Stokes. They refuse any refund or return for the correct item, even though I was willing to pay any extra that may be required for the correct part. I even pointed out to them that their item description was misleading (as it was truncated and there was no photo). Beware of their online site.

I need a spare part to fix my clothes dryer, and just discovered Stokes Appliance Parts at Springwood. Liz was bright, cheery and very helpful, promising to get my new door lock in next week. So happy to find someone helpful so close to home!

Sold a simerstat switch which failed in under 2 months. When contacted about tried to blame the electrician who installed it even though he had been doing these installs for decades. Dodgy. Avoid at all costs. go elsewhere.
