Flowerdale Estate
I am a wedding videographer and photographer and I recently had the pleasure of working at Flowerdale Estate for one of my couples. The venue was absolutely incredible and a real experience from start to finish. As soon as you arrive on site you can see how much effort the groundskeepers put into keeping the place immaculate, especially the ceremony location! Nothing was too much effort for any of the staff all day - even in the 40 degree heat and they were so welcoming and accomodating. The food was exceptional and overall the couple and all their guests had a fantastic day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Flowerdale Estate to any of my future couples and hope to be back at this venue again soon!Dave - Twenty-four18

As a wedding photographer, I have had the privilege of capturing many beautiful moments at Flowerdale Estate, a hidden gem in the valley of 1000 hills. This venue offers a perfect combination of country charm, warm hospitality, and stunning scenery that leaves an everlasting impression.Flowerdale Estate is truly a country escape, allowing you to enjoy the serenity of rural Victoria while still being just an hour and twenty minutes from the city. The rolling hills, dotted with sheep, create the perfect backdrop that sets this venue apart from the typical Yarra Valley vineyard locations.You are going to love the staff. They're bloody hard working, hilarious, and down to earth. It feels more like a family than staff.The onsite accommodations, complete with a tennis court, swimming pool, and billiards room, provide an extended and unforgettable experience for guests in this beautiful countryside setting.Something else I love is the friendly farm animals, including goats, horses, a huge pig, and sheep, who love to say hello and pose for some adorable and hilarious photos with the wedding party.The venue offers multiple ceremony spots, such as the perfectly manicured lawn enclosed by a lush hedge and rose garden, the lakeside area under the gum trees with a natural tree-trunk arbor, or beneath the magnificent oak tree in front of the pavilion. Each location is picturesque, and should it rain, they've got that majestic pavilion. So you're in safe hands.Flowerdale is also one of the few venues where you're able to continue on partying once the staff leave. It feels like camp in that sense, where everyone has removed themselves for their busy lives and come out to a beautiful part of the state where can wholeheartedly commit themselves to your wedding.

Lovely country escape with stunning surroundings and gardens. Great for a winter escape. The rooms are ready for an modern upgrade but the country/floral vibe is a bit of fun. The main house has a billiard room which is wonderful fun prior to dinner and the food in the restaurant is amazing. Great customer service and very friendly staff. Breakfast needs a bit more love perhaps a coffee machine, toaster, real tea in a pot and poached eggs are needed. The venue has options for weddings too which would be lovely. A wonderful get away.

Wonderful find! We received a bed and breakfast package for a wedding gift and it was wonderful! The team are so helpful and friendly. The grounds are amazing and the food... amazing and super well priced! Loved every minute and will be back for sure!

Service and staff were fantastic very helpful I can't complain about the job they do.Atmosphere is laid back and relaxed location is fine.Very relaxing, road going there was absolutely hell in a sports car lol.Only thing I was dissappointed in was the rooms.Very old and outdated, nothing special at all and the worse part was the shower with no pressure or water coming out. The beds were OK and sheets were clean.But the people and service made it good.

A beautiful and very well maintained estate. We had a lunch and Devonshire tea, fresh and tasty. The staff were super friendly and fun.Steph was so lovely, she made our visit such a fun & welcoming time.Looking forward to coming up again sometime.

Waited 25 minutes after being seated at the restaurant to receive a menu or even be offered a water. Eventually had to ask for menu and some water. It seemed the young staff just forgot about us or were not adequately trained. Had the same treatment when it came to ordering desert. In our room, we couldn't lock the door to the shared balcony, so we had to prop up a chair against it. There was no TV reception, so the T.V. in the room was pointless. No phone in the room or anyone to ask for assistance. No clothing hangers and fridge not turned on. Lovely grounds. Food OK. Took 2.5 hours to complete our dinner due to No service. Had to ask for everything. Disappointing!

WOW!! This has to be the best wedding venue I've ever been to! The Estate is absolutely beautiful- outstanding gardens, rooms, food and staff - everything was just perfect! I can't rate or recommend this venue highly enough. And it's more than just a wedding venue - treat yourself to dinner & cocktails at Gracie's Restaurant, a glamping weekend (their tents" are AMAZING!) or a weekend retreat

My husband and I stayed at Flowerdale Estate in a glamping tent on the weekend.The gardens are beautiful, the food was fantastic and the staff went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was enjoyable.I highly recommend visiting the estate.

Had a very nice weekend stay.Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay.We had all 3 meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All were beautiful.The dining room was warm and inviting.
