Launceston Distillery

Brilliant atmosphere! Ellie had great knowledge and was very welcoming and fun. Will definitely be recommending this experience to friends visiting. Will be enjoying some whiskey we purchased at home, delicious.

Staff were friendly and gave us whiskey tour with Interesting history of the site. So much fun! And great quality of whiskey.

Didn't have enough time to do distillery tour but got a tasting in before dropping off hire car and checking in at airport. Plan a visit if anyone is dropping off hire car at airport. Good range of whiskies and merchandise available, though the 500ml bottle of peated whisky is no longer available.

Incredible whiskey, with a visit and a revisit. We had a wonderful, insightful tasting experience both today with Ellie and last year with Andrew. Some of the best whiskey I've ever had.

Today was our second visit to Launceston Distillery and was just as awesome as the first. The customer service here is some of the best I've experienced in Launceston and although I played designated driver both visits due to my lack of love for the Spirit, Ellie (and Andrew who hosted at our first visit) made sure I was just as looked after as the boys doing the tastings. Loved the history behind the building and would definitely say it's worth a visit for anyone coming within a 50km radius of the Launceston Airport!My only disappointment is that Angus (the owners dog) apparently doesn't work weekends and so sadly, didn't make an appearance on either of our visits.

One of my favourite Tasmanian Distilleries! If Whisky is your vibe then you definitely need to head out and take a tour! Not only do they create some of the best whisky in the world, the history behind the building they use is incredible. If you’re a fan of whisky and aviation, this will be your Mecca! 110% recommend you swing by for a tour.

Second time here and it was just as fantastic as the first time! Ellie was our tour guide and her passion and knowledge made the tour such fun. Will definitely bring more friends here in the future!

Really interesting place. It used to be an old Ansett terminal. Lots of old Ansett memorabilia. Whisky's were great. All made in the Speyside style. Knowledgeable guide and the entry fee is waived if you buy a bottle.

This is by far the best whiskey I have ever tasted. I just wish we had more time to take a tour of the distillery.

Lovely little distillery - we just dropped by during the week, one of the owners gave us a tour of the hanger that they operate out of, giving us a bit of the history of the building, the distilling operation and insight in to how the magic happens. We then had a tasting of their range of whiskies along with some tastes of their cask strength whisky as well. Great stuff!
