Quick to respond and easy to deal with. On time (in fact was early for the first appointment to quote). On the day delivered as expected no fussing about and got the job done. I couldnt be happier with my experience with Jason Farmer from Mr Salt Damp. I got several quotes for treatment of the wet areas of my 1920s maisonette. The walls were in a fairly bad state in some places. Jason's quote was very competitive, I actually thought it too good to be true and so really asked him heaps of questions to reassure myself before making the decision to go with him over the others. He was so transparent, he welcomed my questions and provided thorough and honest responses. I have no regrets at all in deciding to engage Jason over other businesses that quoted over double the amount. The work happened to schedule, Jason was reliable in communicating with me about the schedule of work including the initial treatment of affected areas; and later the restoration of the walls including the removal and rerendering of concrete and then plaster to the affected areas of walls. The areas were cleared and all rubble was removed via skip bin which Jason organised. Restoration is a big and costly undertaking, I am very pleased to have gone through the process with this business and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Incomplete job, with expectations not met and poor communication. I agreed to the job of salt damp treatment and then follow up plaster to finish But I have been left with a room full of holes and the quote price went up by $1925 to complete the works. I tried to solve this directly and got no where.We closed our business for a week and it turns out it could have been done on the weekend (despite me requesting this). I had to apply for the council permit and pay for the skip which I was not expecting. The trades also swore loudly while on the job in an office work environment. Unprofessional.

Jason was recommended to us when he was completing work at our neighbours. He came through & gave us a prompt quote and then awaited for us to be ready. He turned up when was booked, answered all of our questions and proceeded to do the salt damp treatment. I would use Jason again and recommend him highly.

Jason arrived on time and was friendly and professional. He explained that the damage I was seeing was due to an older leak not any existing salt damp and no treatment was necessary. The previous week I had been quoted nearly $3k by another company to do what I now know to be an unnecessary treatment on a dry room. After getting messed around by a well known salt damp company. After I took the day off and lost a whole day. I rang Mr Salt Damp and helped me out straight away... he will always be highly recommend by us!!

Rang Jason Friday, he came out first thing Monday morning on time. I showed him what I thought was salt damp and he said it wasn't salt damp, but moisture coming through an external wall into my cellars internal wall and I needed to wet lock it with a specialised render and that he couldn't help me, unfortunately. He could have taken me for a ride and I would have been none the wiser. 100% honest and professional. I was very impressed.
