Sunrise Motel

Fantastic country motel. Matt & Jacqueline are very friendly and helpful. It was such a pleasure to stay at Sunrise that we've already booked another holiday with them!EDITED TO ADD:We have stayed at Sunrise Motel, Barooga every year for 5 years running now and have already booked our next holiday at Sunrise Motel.The rooms are always clean, comfortable and spacious. The BBQ area is a fantastic space to relax, socialise with other guests and the motel hosts, play a game of pool, darts, have a swim in the heated pool or relax on the lounges around the swimming pool.The kids are also kept occupied with options to play water volleyball,practice those 3-pointers with the basketball hoop, play cricket, etc.Sunrise motel is the ideal place to stay no matter if you're travelling alone, as a couple, a family or a group.

Have stayed at Sunrise Motel in Barooga a number of times and it is always clean and comfortable. The price is very reasonable and the owners, Jacqueline and Matt are very friendly and inviting. The rooms have Foxtel and there are great communal facilities, including a pool and undercover BBQ area. I would recommend Sunrise Motel to anybody looking for a place to stay when visiting Barooga or Cobram.

My husband and I just had a 3 night stay at the Sunrise Motel. For a very reasonably priced motel we were surprised how good it was. Our room was huge with 3 beds, a couch and a dining setting for 4. Beds very comfortable with quality sheets and pillows. The kitchen had everything you would need. Everything was very clean and neat. The owner Jaqueline was lovely and very helpful. Would certainly recommend

A lovely place. Room very spacious with King size bed, extremely comfy, all facilities including kitchenette, Foxtel, lounge and DVD Player. BBQ area large and enclosed with seating and tables. Pool area pleasant, with lawn surrounds. Guest laundry. Hosts very friendly and helpful, didn't want to leave, will come again

This is a little gem this Motel with huge rooms with everything in it that you need,Absolutly clean and tidy nice bedding and quiet,The hosts are friendly and very helpful nothing was a problem,,Walking distance to up town Barooga and the club and pub.Thank you again for a pleasant 3 day stay.10/10.

Stayed 3 nights and was blown away by the size of the motel unit. Much bigger than expected. Well equiped and great location.

Great motel, room was spacious and bed comfortable, kitchen was a great bonus,good central location and super friendly staff.

I wish there was an option of giving 7 stars or even more like 10 or 12 stars. It’s stunning little super star of all the motels. Everything carefully thought out, well appointed and the owner lady treats you as extension of her family. I recommend all motel operators should come here for a crash course and then go back and redo your rooms like Sun Rise Motel’s room.All I can say to owners is: well done and keep it up. You are doing amazing job
