We built a new pool at our house and had quite a bit of electrical work to do. We had a couple of outdoor power points installed, the pool to be earthed, pool lights connected with a switch installed and also some new ceiling lights and a TV point installed in the patio. We had arranged a few quotes because of the amount of work required. Allan's price was very competitive so we gave him a go.Allan was very prompt, professional and his work was good quality. We are very happy with our experience and would definitely recommend him. We ended up getting Allan back to put some additional ceiling fans in and will continue to use him if required in the future. 5 stars :)

Allan replaced all our old down lights with LED's. My only issue is we didn't do it sooner! Allan was friendly, prompt, efficient, well priced and cleaned up after himself! He found some issues with cables not earthed and fixed immediately. We've used a lot of electricians in the past but Allan will be the first I call in future. Thank you.

Allan Jack has carried out work for us both at home and at our restaurant. Allan is great fitting us in when work is urgent at the restaurant. He is always professional and will not stop until he fixes the problem. I highly recommend Allan.

I needed a replacement bathroom light after the exhaust fan gave up on the one I had, after calling around for quotes I selected Jim's as the local contractor Allan was in the area and gave me a good price. After that I got him to install some light switches and power points which had gone yellow. The best part was absolutely no mess was left behind.If I have anymore jobs I'll definitely give this guy a call.

We had a few powerpoints/ light switches that were starting to show their age and in danger of jamming up. I requested an online quote on the Jim's Electrical site and I recieved an email response within minutes and a phone call response shortly after that. Allan was able to get the gist of our needs from my layman's description and gave me a quote immediately. I booked him for 8am the following Monday and he was right on time. Despite quoting for replacing the individual faulty switches, Allan went ahead and replaced each set, noting that the others in each fitting would more than likely fail soon. His original quote didn't alter despite the extra materials. Allan was efficient, prompt and courteous and he took the time to explain what he had done. After some not so great experiences in the past with electrical trades, I wouldn't have any hesitation in getting Allan back again and recommending him to anyone who needs a reliable and fair electrician.

I've had several electricians do work for me but I'm most happy with Allan from Jim's electrical. He's really prompt, reasonably priced, and does good work. A great tradesman to deal with - he's my go to guy now.
