Great new playground equipment. Some of it is shaded but most is unusable on a hot day until the sun goes down. Lots of big shady trees and some seating available.

Beautiful park for children. The only problem is the swings and jungle gym don't have any shade sails so they get very hot in the midday sun.

Great park, however metal slippery slide unusable in the hot sunny days. Literally fry an egg on it.

The brand new play equipment is fantastic, there's something there for everyone. So good to see more than 2 swings. The trees provide lovely shade and backdrop. The toilets are needing an upgrade. But it was a perfect stop on the way through town.

The kids really enjoyed the pirate ship playground and swings. Excellent, clean play area and wonderful place to stop for travellers with kids. 3 stars only because the toilets are pretty awful - dark, smelly, graffitied and a little eerie. A redesign of the loo, incorporating more natural airflow and light, would make this park a 5 star rest stop.
