Utterly disappointed with the reciptonI have got a major finger cut which almost torn.They didn’t ever had a look into it and said they need an appointment.They don’t even have an empathy towards patient.They should have atleast addressed my emergency but unfortunately they are not interested.Just wondering who books appointment if it was something serious.At least listen to patients and address the issueManagement needs to notice itThanks

My dentist sent a referral to them and as per his instructions - I called them the next day to organise an appointment. Got told by receptionist “wait for our call”. She didn’t bother to take my details or anything…And I’m still waiting and wondering if I should try go interstate.The doctors themselves might be wonderful though! Just unfortunate about the receptionist staff..(Edit: Thanks for the response, Territory Medical. Increased by a star because I appreciate the explanation. Still don’t understand why the receptionist didn’t mention the triaging process or a rough ETA on when to expect a callback though? What is the point of a customer service staff like a receptionist if they’re not guiding customers through the business and its services ? Not sure what else I can say to your coordinator but I’ll keep it in mind.)

Booked an appointment a week ago, on the day of the appointment, called me have to reschedule my appointment because the doctor is away?! and they didn’t have anything available till four days later. Very Very poor management and service! only choose it because it close to home, will never even thought of going there ever.

On 3/06/2022 I sustain nasty cut while working on fencing. It required some cleaning and dressing. It wasn’t life threatening injury so I thought I will do the right thing and not to go to hospital, where emergency department is busy with far more serious stuff. Instead, I went to local doctors’ surgery “Territory Medical” in Nightcliff. It was a few minutes after 4 pm. Surgery is open till 5 pm. There was no doctor or nurse available. Receptions was more interest if I was a patient there then try to help in any way. I don't think i will ever go there if my life depend on it. Chemist across the hallway was far more helpful. Don't

I have been going to the Mitchell Centre Clinic for a long time and seeing Dr Legault. It is true that there can be a long wait to get an appointment as they are so busy. But every single time I have had a more urgent medical issue the reception team and Doctor Legault have made sure I am seen to and cared for immediately. I recently was unwell whilst interstate and she provided me with a Telehealth appointment within 24 hours of me contacting the clinic. They have always made time for me. But most importantly Doctor Legault is a brilliant GP that I trust wholeheartedly. I cannot recommend her more highly and I am deeply grateful for the care she has provided me over the years. She has been absolutely instrumental in maintaining and improving my health.

I called to make an appointment with my GP, and he doesn't work there any more, and the receptionist said she's only new so didn't know where he had gone, so I asked if she could find out, and she was irritated and said I could use Google to find out where he is. They ought to employ people who understand that the doctor-patient relationship is a thing.

I've been seeing Dr Rebecca Dingle about a shoulder injury and postoperative, all I have to say is she is one of the most satisfying doctors to talk to, always so informative and really passionate about her work. We definitely need more people like you in the medical industry.

They no longer bulk bill children. I've taken my 2 year old here since birth and our last appointment was less than 2 months ago and was bulk billed. This is a very recent change and when I made an appointment over the phone yesterday I wasn't notified. I was only made aware of this at the end of today's appointment when I was surprised by a $75 fee (before Medicare rebate). I'm annoyed that this wasn't brought to my attention when making the booking as I would have liked to have the option to take my child to another bulk billing clinic.

No bulk billing, I wasn't told there would be a fee of $90 ($37 back from Medicare) until after my appointment. There are a few comments below about expensive follow up appointments too, which was suggested to me and didn't really seem necessary. I would have been better off going to Top End Medical Centre for my situation. Staff were friendly though.

Don't go here.The doctor gave me the incorrect appointment time, and as such I turned up at the clinic late for my appointment. They didn't call or anything to let me know the appointment had been changed. I was unable to receive a procedure I had been waiting MONTHS for, and ended up leaving the clinic in tears from frustration. I now need to go to lengths to get a new referral and booking.The clinic took no ownership and didn't offer to rebook for me.
