Studio Yellow

This art experience was relaxed, calm, & pleasant. Nat always has things set up beautifully with plenty of visual stimulation. We learned more about using form from nature to inspire our creativity & some interesting facts relevant to art in painting. We were given a nice Diary to start drawing what we see, if we are in amongst nature. Nat has a natural charm & endeavours to make everyone feel comfortable & welcome. I personally though as a very large woman find the space quite prohibitive & uncomfortable at times when needing to move around. I think possibly too many squeezed into the space sometimes.I feel also that the students could be given more opportunity to interact, making it a bit more of a social exerience. A nice start would be to introduce each person as they come in to the group, I have not known anyones name at any class. J ist a brief ..”everyone this is Jenny”” Maybe a short break. Half way through, to give people the chance to mingle a little bit. These are not complaints, just suggestions. Thank you for making these classes available.

I have really enjoyed my classes at Yellow. 2 hours flies by in no time at all.Then I’m enthusiastic about applying new practices.Thank you Nat for everything I am learning.I will come back in the new year.Cassie

Wow I’ve really enjoyed my classes with Natalie. No monkey mind, slows me down, tap into my creativity and its so relaxing. To step out of doing and just being was beautiful. So different to mediation and other things I do to relax me.I have some new skills which I’m looking forward to trying. Thanks

Studio Yellow has been a revelation to me. Natalie's classes are fun, not bogged down in theory, and a great way to relax and try formats we wouldn't otherwise try. I am certainly not a great artist, but I have found these classes have inspired me to keep trying and to enjoy the moment. I have surprised myself with some of my artworks and leave each class feeling successful. Thanks Natalie for making me realise that art is for everyone!

Just finished 12 months in the Art Mentoring classes. Started off very unsure of myself and now I am much more confident not only in my artistic ability but also socially. Natalie makes the classes fun. She is very patient and she has a world of knowledge about art that she is happy to share.

Had a fabulous workshop at Studio Yellow. I thoroughly enjoyed the process of exploring watercolour techniques. Natalie is a great teacher, with lots of experience, sense of humour and helpful tips to offer. It's a relaxed and enjoyable Art class. Highly recommended.

I’ve done about 10 classes of Natalie’s now and I can see a great improvement in my skill and it has sparked an interest that I know will last for the rest of my life. There is so much joy in creation and playing with colour or different mediums. Go on!! Give yourself some time.
