Australian Freshwater Fishing Charters

I’ve had 3 charters now with Australian Freshwater Fishing Charters and each time I’ve asked to learn something new from Matthew. He always explains in depth what he is teaching and is very patient in the way he goes about it.On all 3 occasions I’ve been able to catch fish on the new techniques I’ve learned and had very memorable days on the water.If you’re thinking of having a day out definitely give it a go!!!Thanks Matthew I’ll definitely be back!!

We have been out twice with Matthew. First time in his boat and learnt so much, had a great day and caught good fish. The next trip was in our boat, Firstly, Matthew set up my Lowrance Elite Ti2 to its optimum, what a difference but he then went though the changes and explained why. We then set out to catch some fish which we certainly did.It started raining but we stayed out until 4pm we were having a great time.Diane and I will definitely be going again with Matthew, he has a gift to be able to teach in a way I can comprehend and retain as well as enjoying his company.

We booked a half day charter online - super easy process.From the booking up to the day (and even long after) Matthew was awesome to talk to and took lots of time explaining everything and teaching us all the tips and tricks to catch some great fish. All the gear was top notch and we had an amazing day out. Definitely a fantastic experience and I feel so much more knowledgeable now. I would 100% recommend these charters!

I booked a charter with Mathew super easy process and the knowledge that I gained from Mathew has increased my catch rate incredibly. I now go and fish in conditions that I would normally have had a day in the recliner. Mathew was very forthcoming with his knowledge both on the day and in follow up queries by text message. I will certainly book him again this time on my own boat as he will fine tune the electronics as we go.Highly recommend booking you will not be disappointed.

I had a fantastic experience spending the day with the Matt at Australian Freshwater Fishing Charters. I used the day to take a business client for his first bass fishing experience. Matt's exceptional expertise and knowledge of the area made the trip memorable and as a bonus I managed to land my new personal best bass.Matt provided excellent guidance, showing professionalism, patience throughout the day, as well as provided plenty of advice on techniques, lure selection etc.I appreciated Matt's dedication to ensuring our day on the water was a success. We did a tag along charter with Matt a couple of weeks ago and the amount of knowledge we picked up from him was phenomenal. He also helped fine tune our sounders and helped us get the most out of them. We are consistently catching a lot more fish now since being on his charter.

I was lucky enough to do a charter with Matt on Somerset dam recently and to say I enjoyed it is an understatement. The knowledge that Matt possesses about the area and the fish is second to none and he really goes the extra mile to ensure you have a great day . I've been lucky enough to go with Matty twice now an both times Matty put us in the right spots to get onto some monster bass, he also takes the time to teach you new techniques to catching fish an explain to you why you are using that technique. You will leave with confidence an new knowledge on catching fish an also how to read a sounder better. Thanks AFFC I'll be back for sure

Fishing this charter is a rather special experience. Not only are you constantly learning throughout the whole day, you’re learning from the absolute best in the game. He has all the best tackle and electronics to make the most of the day! Matty is by far one of the most down to earth guys I’ve met. I would have no hesitation to recommending Australian Freshwater Fishing to anyone. Looking forward to my next day out with Matty.
