Amaznails Gungahlin

Had the worst experience here today! The young girl who took my shellac off - amazing. But the older lady who did my nails - terrible. I have left so unhappy with my nails. She asked if I wanted my nails cut shorter, I said a little bit please. They were cut so short. She cut them so short that I couldn’t get my previous shape without them looking stupid. Then when it came to shaping the nails, I agreed to having them round shaped. When I looked at the nails once she’d “shaped” them, they were so jaggered and misshaped. I asked if she could fix them. She said it is the way I was looking at then that made them misshaped. I said no matter how I look at them, they’re jaggered. She went at my nails again with the finale another 3 times before I took the file off her and did it myself! Then when painting my nails, she’d missed a whole side of one of my nails and with the top coat, it is so thick that it looks like a 3 year old did them. I’m so unimpressed. I went there last fortnight and Mandy did my nails and I was so happy, now this happened I won’t be returning. VERY disappointed customer.

Very disappointing. I had a full set of acrylics done and the woman rushed them. The woman put the nails on really wonky, I told her twice and she said don't worry I file after". Well i had asked for Square with rounded edges and they ended up oval.The nails were lifting the next day cause she didnt file my own nail enough. It was sloppy and they were so thin

Worst Experience ever!Started out okay, the ladies were super nice and friendly! Everything was fine up until I asked for my nails to be shorted and was told they would be done as my nails would be shaped, once shaped I reminded the woman I wanted them shorted. She quickly grabbed the tool & shortened them very jaggered and uneven and handed me off to another person who shaped and painted my nails.During all of this I made it clear that I have a injured wrist and it couldn’t be moved or twisted too quickly! To which they all ignored. Ripping my hand forward causing me pain. After I told them to stop. It continued. Very unimpressed with their lack of customer service. They seemed very mad during my time there and annoyed with how I wanted MY NAILS! If I’m willing to pay $60 for nails I expect them to be the way I want them!To top this experience off. My nails began to fall off not even two days later!Will not be going back ever again! Do not recommend

Very rude and was trying to yell at me. I had to tell her to calm down .I had 3 nails broken after one day and the boss said it's not there problem. when you walk out the door it's your fault if any nails break ,I have had my nails done for years and this has never happened.

The most horrendous nail experience I’ve ever had. 39 weeks pregnant and in for a much needed pedicure and manicure before bub arrives, it’s school holidays. I am attended to by someone who is very young (school aged) who has never done this before, needs coaching to use all of the tools and the steps in the process...I effectively got my feet tickled for 20 minutes before I decided to leave. I was asked to pay full price and I said no, they gave me a $5 discount. This woman may even be running an illegal business by using unqualified, underage nail technicians. Save your money, infections and timeDO NOT GO HERE

I got charged $55 for plastic nails. The lady was nice however she did not apply enough acrylic to the point where my nails are bendy and extremely thin. Looks like press on acrylics lol. Nail polish is already chipping. Wonky. She took extremely too long to dry like 10 minutes and it was not a great experience and waste of money. Pls don't go here.

I just received a great service and very welcoming, positive attitude from a lady called Mary @ Crystal nails in Gungahlin. I will definitely return. Thank you sooo much!

I've had my acrylic gel nails done here a few times. Always okay done.The last time the first nail fell off that same day with no pressure, with a following 2 each day for the next three days.I was on holiday over the weekend and had to rip the remaining 2 off because they looked horrible!!The young girl there is very nice I rang up and explained once I was home in Canberra and she said I could come in and get them redone free of charge because of the bad experience and I come in regularly. I said I would return the next day (Friday) but couldn't make it, rang up to book appointment on following Tuesday (today) when I was told I have to pay more pay more" and not aloud to get my free nails done anymore.I find this unfair as I paid $70 for nails to last me a couple of days? I've never had such bad quality in my life and I expect a refund or re-do even if it's a week late.My office staff won't be going to this salon in Gungahlin anymore and will have to try some of the others after this bad experience.My old salon in Belconnen would always replace any nails free of charge in the first 7 days (although I would never need to do that especially 90% of the nails in the FIRST three days) disgraceful rip off and that's over 3 hours work of my time to pay for such a job!Not happy."
