I contacted HeatCool to repair a 27year old obsolete Vulcan Power House ducted heater. The enquiry was handled efficiently and pleasantly and a prompt inspection arranged. The serviceman arrived promptly and with emphasis on Covid 19 safety requirements and attention to cleanliness, effected a repair utilising equivalent industry parts. The entire operation from enquiry to payment was extremely efficient. This firm deserves to be highly recommended for their response.

I have an older Cannon Canterbury gaslog Fire, that came with a house I moved into about 9 months ago. Well it gave up working smack in the middle of Stage Four COVID lockdown, in the middle of winter. My major source of heat just died on me.After a couple of weeks of being redirected and misdirected by other supposedly full service heating repair companies (while I shivered under an increasing mound of blankets), I was finally put onto HeatCool as the Cannon specialists.Well I just want to say thank you to HeatCool for seriously excellent service, communication, and follow up. Not to mention a great repair job.To Fiona in the office for doing her best to schedule appointments and track down and speed up parts delivery for me, and to Steve for being so skilled and effective in servicing and repairing the fireplace. The job involved a service, and gas seal check, then removal and replacement of the dead ignition. All done when promised and in a surprisingly short amount of time. Hey presto ... instant heat!Thank you.Just Thank You.

Do not use.I contacted Heat Cool explaining that the fan in my heater is no longer working. They came to my house, charged me $200 to do so, and then told me that it could not be fixed, and gave me a quote for $7,000 for a new heater.I contacted another company, who came and repaired my heater.I asked for my $200 back (which is an exorbitant call out fee anyway). I was told that they would refund the $200 if I provided an invoice for the repair from the other company. I did this. Do you think I got a refund? No, just excuses. I was then told that they are not electricians and refrain from doing electrical work! Why did you come to my house and charge $200 to start with, when you knew the problem was the fan!They also told me that they only use genuine parts, and they were not available for the heater. Why tell me this after you have been and charged me $200? You knew the model number of the heater, and you knew the issue.Very poor service.

We were so impressed with the service we received. Especially offering a very prompt service during the week before Christmas. The technician was amazing, on time and fixed all our problems. The office staff and especially Fiona who coordinated our repair bookings were so fabulous.

We had an issue with our Gas Log fire. A HeatCool technician came and quickly identified the issue - a loose wire. He also serviced our Brivis Gas Ducted heater and discovered that there were cracks in the heat exchanger. The unit was 16 years old so not unexpected. The technician explained the issues with the heater, showed us video of the cracks and discussed the repair and replacement options. We opted for replacement and a quote was provided within the next few days. The team arrived today and installed the new heater. They were very efficient and friendly. All work was completed within half a day. Excellent service.

Came next day after reporting a problem with my Bonaire Cooler. Rob quickly sussed out the problem; remote not shaking hands with the cooling unit. Rectified this and showed what to do if happens again. Also advised me to use well known alkaline batteries in the remote

Contacted HeatCool on the day. Service arranged for afternoon and completed very effectively. Service was on a Central Heating system now 40 Y/O. Replacement parts not available for a unit of this age.Relative parts dismantled and cleaned and reinstalled effectively. Both service men - Jamie and assistant, who's name escapes me, were very efficient, and well prepared for any eventuality. Very pleasant young guys who left me very pleased with their work and approach. Would definitely recommend HeatCool based on my experience.
