Great for dinner and drinking - price a bit on the higher side though. Ordered 1 spaghetti and 1 gnocci both tasted good, although a bit too overcooked for our liking :)

The food was absolutely sensational. We asked for a vegan dish, and the chef came up with a new recipe as there was none in the menu. Their customer service was excellent.Thanks for a great experience!

WowSomeone nice to eat in Albany for a change.Went here for lunch which was all round excellentStarter was the sizzling prawns. We had to ask for bread as the butter garlic sauce was epicI had the hamburger which is one of the best I have had in a LONG time. Tasty and then some. The frites were quite thin and I could really appreciate the duck fat or rosemaryMy wife had the French onion soup and loved itThe wine selection was decent for once not a usual Albany menu of $5 wine for $50 a bottle.Service was goodVery happy

We were warmly welcomed and quickly seated (I strongly advise booking) but the service dipped to almost non-existent after that. I don't think it's this venue's attitude/intention though. The hospitality sector in entire region overwhelmingly understaffed and unfortunately it's resulting in frazzled nerves for servers and customers alike.The food was great and we did not have to wait long for it after it was ordered. The portions are more than adequate, and full of flavour.

From the moment we walked thru the doors we were welcomed by the friendly staff and felt the French vibes of Majuba Bistro. The dark moody colours are relaxing and calming and the photography is awesome . The food was fabulous and we cleaned our plates. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and recommend making this a must visit for your dinner date in Albany.

Probably the best long table dinner we have attended. The food was delicious and served on hot plates - very important. Dietary requirements were all taken care of with very good options. Also enjoyed the wine pairings.Pass on our praise to Andrea, Johann, chefs and wait staff

Absolutely beautiful!!Wonderful service and 5 star food. Gnocchi was melt in your mouth amazing and the Salmon Carpaccio was incredible! Couldn’t fault Majuba at all. Definitely recommend.

We had a well cooked French style meal of fresh local seafood in Majuba - WA sardines, octopus and line caught blue grouper. They were not only expertly cooked but the accompaniments of each dish were sensitively matched, the sauces complimented and the presentation on the plate was tasteful and simple. The potato chips remained crisp till the end of the meal and perfect with subtle taste of ducks fat and rosemary. The dessert of gelato tasted of vanilla. Small wine list provided a good sampling from local wine areas. The service was helpful and enthusiastic. It was on par if not superior to many of the equivalent French restaurant we have visited in Sydney. The food tasted of assured settled cooking and the ingredients tasted freshly acquired.

Service was good, to be expected.Bought 3 courses each for 2 of us.French onion soup was bland.Scallops were cooked well.Duck was super over cooked the drumstick section was almost like jerky.Steak was cooked well but the gravy was lacking flavour.Had a side serve of pommel fritte (shoe string fries) for $14 they could of been at least homemadeCreme brulee was nice.Belgium chocolate tart. Was more like a rich cake. No sign of any sort of base.Over all was disappointing especially for the price. Expecting alot more flavour. Been waiting to try this place for a long time and unfortunately didn't live up to expectations.
