Shire Heating Solutions
I have a failed heat pump hot water system and asked for help over the phone, quoting the Rheem MPI-25 model and the symptoms. Told it is $49 dollars call-out fee, which was OK.When a technician arrived (2 hours late) he stated he also needs to charge $99 investigation fee (was not mentioned) plus GST. This comes to $162.80.The staff was very friendly but not experienced in my Rheem model (despite wearing the jacket with Rheem logo) so he had to call his boss and also the Rheem company support. The investigation" yielded nothing: with the help of Rheem support over the phone the guy was trying to perform PCB reset
