A good place for Sunday breakfast. Scrambled eggs and mushrooms are sufficiently different to anywhere else to be interesting. Give it a try!Note that they close strictly at 11 am and kick everyone out - most strange.

First time dining here and was unfortunately disappointed. Meal totalled $51 for a pizza, calamari and a drink. Calamari was unbearably salty, could not finish it. Pizza was pretty average but far from worth the cost. We were not asked during or after the meal how the meal was.I've been looking forward to having dinner here for a while now and noted it had very good reviews. Unfortunately I feel just ripped off with a bad experience. Hopefully this was a once off case and we just got unlucky tonight. Regardless, not too sure if I'll be returning and certainly cannot recommend for dinner.

We've been meaning to visit this place since moving into the area almost 2 months ago and we really should have done it earlier. Lots of seating inside and park style benches outside that have plenty of shade in the morning. Food is a mixture of breakfast and Italian, I had the eggs Benny that was delicious accompanied by a banana smoothie. Will definitely be walking over the hill again to try the dinner menu.We came back for a second visit today and ended up having a better experience than the first time. The food would be one of the best breakfasts I've ever had and the lady looking after us was extremely accommodating and very friendly. Couldn't recommend it more highly!Had our first dinner date at place of stones last night and the pasta was delicious. Can't recommend this place enough!

Impromptu breakfast stop. The Spanish, and Asian eggs were both superb. Great coffee. It may not be on the main drag (one of the attractions for me) but it's well worth the diversion. Lovely suburban eating. Past experience tells us the dinners are excellent too!

Happened to come across this place after looking around for places online. With 2 extreme ends of good and bad review, I thought it'll be best to just try it out for myself. In my humble opinion, I thought this was one of the better cafes I've tried in my trip so far, good service and great food. While food might be slightly pricer, but their serving of food is quite generous, and service staffs are quite prompt.This was one of the brunch place that my friends and i had decided on before heading to Lone Pines Sanctuary, and we all were glad that we decided on coming here fkr our breakfast :) Will definitely return for more and probably try out their dinner menu

Kim treats the guests like family and does an amazing job running the place. The food and coffee is out of this world AMAZING, hence why we come back every weekend. Not only that but service always comes with a smile.A must try is the garlic mushroom avo on breakfast menu, it'll blow you away.

Could not recommend this place enough!!! From entree, to main & dessert - everything was perfect. It is very evident that the food is freshly home made, honestly this is one of the best restaurants that I have been to in Brisbane. The portions are generous, the venue’s atmosphere is cozy, and it’s very easy to get a park. 10000% worth the visit !!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a charming cafe that is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance from the train station. The cafe not only captured my attention with it's inviting atmosphere, but it also exceeded my expectations with it's delectable menu offerings at reasonable prices. I decided to try their big breakfast as well a plate of egg Benedict. I was impressed by the prompt service provided by the attentive staff. As I savored each bite, I couldn't help but be delighted by the flavoursome and satisfying nature of the dishes. It became evident why this cafe has received such high praise on maps.

Bravo Place of Stones, we loved our dinner last night. Our group of 3 families enjoyed a delicious meal at Place of Stones. We received excellent service and loved the atmosphere. We will be back.

Place of stones is a small pizza joint tucked away in Taringa. It felt very cosy, and the pizza was divine. I had an excellent night, and now I'm keen to sample the breakfast goods!
