Golden Pebble Hotel

Disgusting. There was toothpaste spit down the bathroom vanity and a soggy box full of old cigarette butts on the balcony. Dirty cutlery in drawers. Bath was dirty. We were booked 3 nights but left the next morning. Would've left immediately but we checked in late and night and couldn't find an alternative. Service gets a 2 because st least when I rang down they brought me cleaning products so I could clean it myself.

Dunno if I'd recommend this place.Had an international guest stay there. They had difficulty accessing something to eat and drink. The place is nice and neat. The staff were friendly.The square google ad blocks visibility of local businesses.

Good sized room and bath with shower and balcony older style ,pleasant staff , good Chinese restaurant in lobby level …. But for some reason they turn off the lift midnight to 8 am ( sign says for security reasons?) had to carry my bags down three sets of stairs to the car and then get locked in the basement, no access back up the stairs card won’t open stair doors,Had to go out in the rain around the front of the building and back up to my room through reception crikey.! Surely that’s a fire hazard very frustrating!!!

A very comfortable motel room with all of the necessary amenities.Bed was comfortable. Seating and tv area adequate for 2 people.Air conditioning unit worked superb.Would not hesitate to stay again.

For those who are considering booking a room there, here are som tips.Firstly, I suggest get $300 cash on you because they are gonna ask a bond which is either $300 cash or $100 on card. I've been to plenty of hotels, and the only other hotel asked for a bond with such a big difference accused me of damaging the room which I never did, and refused to returned the bond I paid on card. To avoid a potentially similar experience, I drove 5 minutes to the nearest atm to get the cash.Secondly, when you check out make sure your room payment get through and get the receipt, otherwise this may happen to you. On the same day after I checked out they called me and said they didn’t get my payment. I confirmed that on my band account and paid accordingly with a different bank, because I thought there might be something wrong with the previous one. Then a couple of minutes later I got a notice from the previous bank account referring an unusual activity Thankfully I already transferred money out. And the bank confirmed this hotel tried to get the room payment from this account. I means they tried to get me pay them twice. Then a week after I left there they still texted me that I hadn’t paid yet even though I responded with the screenshot of bank transfer to them.Personally, I certainly would not like to haves such a experience again. If those could not stop me from staying there again, I found spider webs hanging down from ceilings and some issues with furnitures, which would help me make a better decision.

The restaurant is very good, the service and the food are good, but the portions are a little less.

Plus, accidentally forgot a pillow there, nice new one with a silk slip and instead of a courtesy call to let us know they just threw it out.

Staff helpful and courteous. Room spaceous and everything worked. No noise from neighbours nor road - we faced carpark.

Horrible experience. Was greeted at the front desk by a gentleman with no sympathy to help book a room. We wanted to book for a month and he had a poor attitude and no basic customer service skills. I don’t recommend booking a stay here the service is poor.
