Very good food, friendly staff. We had the Korean Chicken - great - just needed something other than cabbage salad and kimchi. Needs an extra side - maybe less salad and add some yummy fries.Chick pea salad with avo and prawns - very good but prawns are complete with shells and heads so be prepared for some work. We also added a brisket burger and that was very good and especially the fries are crazy good. Desserts VERY good - sticky date very well done.

Food was ok but found a large shard of plastic in my ragout. I politely told the waitress when she collected the plates and that was it. No sorry or have a beer or a dessert on us. The whole pub is staffed by 18 year old girls and yes I understand all about wages etc but yep isn't an appropriate way to talk to customers or am I just old fashioned

We only stopped in for an afternoon drink. As a coeliac, it would have been better if they had gluten-free beer but, being a Carlton beer pub, they don't. Very friendly and great atmosphere with nice outdoor areas.

Great food and very friendly service.Stopped here on our way back to Melbourne from Wilsons promenade expecting another generic pub meal and good god was I wrong!I walked into the most friendly pub in regional Vic with good food great service and amazing live music.Love the food, loved the vibes, will definitely be coming back for more.We had Chicken Parma (good) fish Parma (different, good but not my personal favourite), salt and pepper calamari (excellent, star of the show)

Stopped for lunch on the road. Good service but the food was a bit dry and didn't really have the freshly cooked feeling.

Friendly staff (and locals). Wonderful historic building, with a warm and inviting pub vibe. Meals are large, but apparently, they can all be served in half sizes. Roast of the day was perfect. Would easily recommend this pub. Very friendly little town.

Enjoyed a beautiful lunch outside on a lovely sunny day. The staff we're truly amazing, our meal was absolutely mouth-watering big thumbs up to the chef and team. Meeniyan hotel is very clean and something else to look at inside, a must visit

Delightful Saturday lunch served by friendly and helpful staff. Lemon pepper calamari and rump steak both excellent. We've had plenty of very poor calamari it's not simple to get right, and this pub did. Seniors serves both generous. We sat outside on the large balcony which was neither overly noisy nor crowded. Authentic country pub not the modern manufactured sort, with a comfortable atmosphere and good food - recommended.
