Mackay Oceanside Central Hotel
I stayed at Mackay Oceanside Central Hotel a few weeks ago. I Was really happy with the room and service. Room was large and clean and had everything I needed.I arrived after hours and was directed what to do over the phone which was quick and easy. I would book again when passing through Mackay in the future.

Bad: Light was out in the stairwell, reception door was locked, funky smell in the bathroomGood: cafe was open and dealt with the booking, fast and efficient, room was clean and comfortable, everything you need for one night, nice little balcony and a lovely wire door to the balcony to let the fresh air in

DONT STAY HERE!! BEWARE!! just the worst experience ever. notice how i gave no star for the service? that’s because i have had the worst encounter with the most incompetent workers who honestly should be kicked to the curb. they truly do not care about you or the hotel!!!!!!

Mackay Oceanside Central Hotel
We booked to stay here because it seemed to be the cheapest decent looking place in Mackay at the time. We probably won't stay here again.The toilet seat moved straight off the toilet when we first used it and we saw it wasn't clean, the lamps didn't work and just overall not that clean.The bed was comfy though and it was relatively close to the placed we needed to visit.

Mackay Oceanside Central Hotel
Visited people staying there. They loved their room and king-sized bed. Said room service was very good and staff were friendly and attentive. They were really happy with the room rate. Definitely recommend.

Mackay Oceanside Central Hotel
This hotel is in East Mackay. It's quite centrally located, so you don't have to drive far to get to 2 of the major shopping centres from here. The room is very clean and modern, we got a double room. The managers are fantastic and have looked after us due to being stranded due to the flooding. Will be staying here again for an actual holiday in future. The pool would be lovely if it wasn't raining right now. There is also an on-site restaurant. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic aswell and lovely hot water. Definitely worth it after a long day of travelling.

Mackay Oceanside Central Hotel
After a long day and a cancelled flight, Jetstar booked us in at this central hotel / motel. Even though it was at quite a short notice and they had to deal with an outage after a lightning strike, they managed to get us and 38 others quickly into our own rooms ánd stayed open a bit longer for breakfast. Couldn't have been more happy with their service.
