Mt Gravatt Veterinary Clinic

UPDATE 15/6/23Mt Gravatt Vet are THE BEST. Our ‘old’ vet repeatedly dismissed our concerns over dental disease. The signs were there, despite our best efforts, but the ‘old’ vet did not want to act. So off we went to Mt Gravatt Vet. Our fears were realised and our dog was scheduled for surgery the very next day. Had we not acted and taken our dog to my Gravatt Vet, our dog would have likely lost a tooth in a short period of time. Needless to say, we have now left our ‘old’ vet and ate extremely happy with our dog’s progress. Mt Gravatt Vet really are THE BEST. Thank you Dr Tim and team (you are all WONDERFUL).Previous review:ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. The BEST vet surgery we have ever attended. Our dog had decided to eat some laundry and we had consulted another (local, in Carindale) vet who declared all we could do is sit and wait, either for him to pass it (they told us this would be unlikely, due to his small size) or surgery and hope he makes it.We were extremely unhappy with this and took him to Mt Gravatt vet instead. They acted with no delay. Nurse Tori and Dr Tim were AMAZING. They were able to get him to vomit the obstruction on the first try. We were allowed to stay in the room with him to cuddle him and tell him all was ok. It was the most positive vet experience we have ever had. We recovered every single piece of the laundry he had eaten. We cannot recommend Mt Gravatt Vet highly enough. The staff are SIMPLY AMAZING. Thank you so so much for your time critical response. I couldn't rate this vet team highly enough.My family and I have always taken our pets to this clinic.I've brought my dog in a few times as he likes to eat things he shouldn't... the support and care we receive each visit is always fantastic. I'm so grateful for the work the nurses and veterinarians do.Thank you so much for always taking such great care of Harvey.

The staff here are amazing,They looked after our little kitten with the upmost care and love.They also provided me with all the information I needed to know and always kept me in the loop with her injury.Definitely recommend this place.

I recently took my cat to this clinic for treatment and found the service to be of an excellent standard. The vet, nurses and admin staff were all very professional and caring. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic!

Was pleasantly surprised with a follow-up text after our dog’s last visit. I was able to get valuable advice and peace of mind without having to book another appt. Really appreciated the care and concern shown by the staff.

Had a very bad experience here, staff was not organised. Prescribed my dog with full course of antibiotics that they don’t even have. Eventually they able to find stock for us from other clinic but that clinic told them already that they only have applied for half course. However, staff does not inform us about that. When we went to pick up from other clinic we only got half course. We have to do multiple calls as they keep telling us to call different places to get medication and eventually we didn’t get what we want and they changed my dog with different antibiotics and charging me extra for the new antibiotics. Not recommend. Ever experience this before with other vet. And I have pets my entire life. Staff that spoken to us today was rude. Will not come back again.

I have taken my cat to the vet several times over the past 3 weeks and have always been very happy with the care and attention he has received. The staff are very helpful and friendly and I feel comfortable leaving him with them.
