Legacy Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Midcoast

We were so happy to find Vanessa and Mauricio's Legacy BJJ for the kids. It is by far their favourite after school activity. Vanessa and Mauricio have created an environment where the kids feel safe, respected and part of something bigger. It ticks all the boxes for us - the girls are learning important self defence skills and strategies, discipline and team work, while getting their exercise and having fun. We couldn't be happier and are in for the long game!

Our girls have always had an after school class They have done Dancing, Tennis, ice-skating, and gymnastics and have enjoyed those experiences but gradually got bored with them. They were offered to try jiu jitsu with Mauricio and Vanessa. So we started them of to try once a week.  After the first few seasons the girls wanted more lessons. They are now training 4 days a week after school. I don’t think I have ever seen them so keen to get to class... I believe that they have a strong connection with Mauricio and Venessa, hard to explain but they are now family. .if you want to learn self defence or for your child to learn self defence and confidence in many ways.. give them a go. I don’t believe that you will be disappointed.If I could give a one million stars we will...Thank you Mauricio and Vanessa.

We were looking for an after school activity for our children that would not only build their fitness, but help them learn to defence, and grow their sense of self.We were astounded at the change in our kids as they learned discipline, respect (for themselves, their teachers, classmates and their uniforms and equipment), and watching them gain confidence every week learning new techniques.We saw our children flourish, and their self esteem and confidence grow under the wonderful tuition of Vanessa and Mauricio.

If I could give it more stars I would.Edit: I noticed all the reviews are parents saying how great it is for their children, so I would like to add; they are not only great with children, but the adults class is amazing as well. Everyone that comes to the classes are quality people and incredibly friendly.The environment set by Mauricio and Vanessa is amazing.The quality of teaching is incredible and I walk out learning something new every day (literally, everyday).Don't be shy if you're older and wanting to learn self-defense, or just looking to get more physical activity in your life, S+ tier teaching, S+ Environment, S+ people. Don't be shy.
