Took on Phils expertise to conduct stage inspections for a new build. He was on time for every inspection and was always willing to explain his report. Highly recommended.

Understanding that I lived in a different state, Phil made me feel at ease knowing that the inspection would be done thoroughly and that all identified defects reported. Phil picked up and reported quite a number of defects that I myself would not have noticed, which the builder has now resolved. Easy process from start to end. 5 stars from me

I had an excellent experience with Phil Stewart of Jim's Building Inspections. He was very professional and helped me even when I had queries post the completion of the report. He explained various aspects of the building process in detail, thereby making me feel at ease. I will definitely make use of Phil again if I have to purchase another property in the area. Phil is genuine. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough. The building report he gave us was detailed with lots of photos and clear explanation, but the support didn’t stop there. He was very caring and asked us to let him know if we had any questions or concerns in the future to just give him a ring. Something did come up and we felt so reassured after a chat with Phil. Phil was awesome. He inspected the property and gave us a very thorough and well written report. He is very knowledgeable and covered everything and included lots of visuals and additional pictures. He included advice on major and minor issues, how to address them and the recommended timeframes. He was also available after sending the written report for questions and gave even more insights on the phone. Highly recommend.

Phil was amazing to deal with. He went above and beyond what i could have asked for. His inspection was very thorough and attended to the job/ gave the report back in the day! As a first home buyer i was very new to the whole process and quickly became stressed at the list that was presented to me. Phil went out of his way after work hours to spend AN HOUR on the phone with me to talk me through every single dot point and whether or not they were big issues or not AND if they were a big issue, what the cost involved would be to get it rectified and some alternatives on what to do. Safe to say following on from that phone call, i felt a lot less stressed and knew exactly what needed to be done. I cannot thank Phil more for the job he did and made sure i brought him back for the re-inspection prior to settlement. Would not recommend anyone else but Phil for your building inspections!
