Premises was clean and tidy, quite comfortable. Bar service was quick and efficient. Worst part was the food, was way below even pub food standards. Will not be going back.

Been 25 years since last here and they have cleaned itself up from the old rep.Ordered the chicken Schnitzel. The vegetables were great, Schnitzel was a little overdone on top and underdone in middle.Side of wedges crispy.Staff, one friendly guy taking the orders.Price is reasonable.

Great food and a decent variety of food/drinks available. Great value for money and I will certainly be back. Friendly staff and a nice and clean venue. Child friendly venue and it has a play area. Lots of TVs to watch a range of sports on offer.

Great place to check out. We just settled for the burgers and a trawlers haul basket. The seafood was perfectly cooked and tasted great plus they have a decent range of beers.The staff are very helpful and have no issues handling large numbers - it was pretty busy today

Rating these two stars as the food was ok but only ok..... the portions, however.... less than of quality unless you want to fill up on chips.Veg portion 4 green beans, 1 broccoli florret and a tiny corn. Special of pasta filled shells - 6 shells on a plate with a teaspoon on each. Additional food had to be ordered for this party guest.The Irish Stew was reheated in microwave it had a skin on top it was that obvious.The cesear burger was ok, but again, only for the portion of fries it wouldn't have been of qualityWhen you order at the bar self, set the table settings and pick up your food, saving is already in place to add to the food, in my opinion.Wont be back again or recommend it.

I am writing this review as a result of a very poor experience at this venue. I visited here last Saturday afternoon for a couple of beers and a meal with my brother. When the buzzer sounded to indicate my meal was ready I stood up inadvertently slightly bumping the table where which resulted in up-ending a fresh glass of beer. I realised how unstable the table was so reported it to the duty manager who found this amuzing and just laughed at me. He came over to the table to inspect it and claimed it was not unstable even after my brother, formerly a maintenance engineer at a private hospital, agreed to its instability. The manager suggested I had spilled the beer myself and not as a result of the unstable table and walked away. I asked him for his name as I wanted complain and was told his name was on the door". I could not find his name on the door so I asked him again - his reply was "how many times do I have to tell you?". On further investigation I finally found the name of the licensee above the door head (not on the door) which was pointed out by another staff member as being located in the "open your eyes and look department". I have been visiting the hotel since 2002 when I moved here from the Northern Beaches but will not be coming back after such disgraceful customer service."
