Interesting one hour trip with continuous audio of historic places and events. Parking is available at the gold mine (starting point)

The tram ride was a great way to get around town for us as we have a motorhome and could park right next to the tram starting point and get on and off with a day pass.

Whilst we were in Bendigo with my Mum for the Elvis exhibition we were able to score tickets to the Shake Rattle and Roll Tram. Talk about a great way to spend an hour and a half in Bendigo as the sun went down!!!The ticket included an Elvis themed cocktail on arrival and a tram ride around Bendigo with Elvis’ music creating the soundtrack. We had so much fun we did not want it to end!The staff were fun, attentive and made the experience well worth it.Would recommend this even if you are not an Elvis fan but note that it’s only running during the exhibition and most nights are selling out fast!!

It is absolutely worth the money. The tram driver adds to the charm of this transport method of years gone by. He is the longest serving tram driver in Victoria.Fascinating facts and interesting tidbits on Bendigo's history provided by the Talking Tram.

Great relaxing way of seeing the heart of Bendigo. Good information on board as you casually travel along the main streets. A few different locations to get off or on along the journey.

If you only have a few hours to spare while in Bendigo or are simply passing through, I would highly recommend this hop on hop off service. A round trip from Deborah Gold mine (main stop) takes about 40 minutes and covers key areas of Bendigo. Buy an all day pass directly with the tram driver onboard. They have 3 hour free parking at the Gold mines, also plenty of parking for trailers.

My wife and I visited went on the trams and they were lovely like going back to the Victorian times we went to one end of the town and back with a history lesson whilst it trundled down the street. Our driver was Ian such a gentleman and funny he also gave us a history lesson at one end about the military factory which is still used.Very happy with the ride and Ian is a credit to the Bendigo Trams. Thank you !
