The Nook by Gislers

Bought a meat pie from there. Never again. Got back to work, found it to be cold. Not cool. Not luke warm. Cold. Lamb and Rosemary. I Persisted and got half way through it, due to having nothing else to eat and no time to find something else, before throwing it away. 2 hours later I was feeling unwell. I was genuinely concerned I was going to be sick. Luckily it went no further than stomach cramps. The pies there used to be great. I will say the service there is better now that the lady who used to swear at trucks driving past, literally, she actually yelled at a truck as it drove past, and would scoff at you for using eftpos instead of having cash is gone.

Got a sandwich platter from these guys on the weekend and it was spot on! Thanks guys . Would recommend

Went into shop to get pie Cashier is decided to serve the pretty people before me asked for a plane pie but got chillie one because the blond casheir didnt like me asking why he wouldnt server me what a joke

I bought an iced coffee. That was ok. Then went to find a seat. The only chair left in the shade was broken. The table left (there were only 4 other sit in customers and room for 10 customers with covid social distancing in mind) had no umbrella set up. It's in the middle of the blazing sun in summer so why bother setting up tables and chairs? I highly do not recommend for sit down coffee or snacks. The customer service was full of sass and when the shade umbrella was finally set up it didn't actually serve what I was politely indicating so I could enjoy my iced coffee. So I boiled for a bit in the sun and left annoyed and very uncomfortable. The staff person was so rude I didn't bother to give feedback because she clearly knew she was awful for doing that to a customer. I think I'll go back to chain stores. These guys clearly don't care about the business. So many other cafes deserve the patronage at such tough times, but definitely not this one! Can't get simple customer service right. Can't believe I went in to show support by buying coffee there. So disgusted.

I have ordered a sandwich and wrap platter multiple times and they never disappoint. Beautiful service and yummy food. I pop in from time to time and it’s always 10/10

It's almost becoming a ritual to go here on a Saturday morning for a coffee and a sausage roll. If you have your own coffee machine, you need to try their homemade blend of coffee beans. It almost feels creamy to drink with just the right amount of sweet and bitter flavours.

The Nook did some platters for my daughters first birthday. I cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond for some allergy friendly platters, and their service was really lovely. In the case of a miscommunication, they went above and beyond to rectify and I couldn’t recommend them enough for their kind service on top of delicious food. I’ve been back since for amazing pies, and a lot of guests at our party have also been there a few times now for food. Highly recommend
