Squirrel Street (formerly Shoeboxed Australia)

I miss the Shoeboxed days... cooler name and a much better product.They removed functionality that made it simple to export to multiple bank accounts at once when they released v2 (I would have thought that most people would have more than one bank account?). I was told that the feature would be implemented again within 6 months but 18 months later, a lot of hair pulling and frustration and still don't have this important feature. It's time consuming and tedious to import to multiple bank accounts.I've moved to Receipt Bank and can't believe that I hadn't moved to them 18 months ago. BLOWN away with the simplicity of the app - thoughtful features including the ability to take multiple photos all at once and bulk upload. Shoeboxed/Squirrel Street requires multiple steps per upload which gets extremely tedious when entering 50 receipts at a time.Please take a look at what Receipt Bank are doing, ask for feedback from users and streamline your software. It should be making an accounting integration better and not frustrate the hell out of a user.

The app does not automatically upload photos from an android phone. I have to take a photo, go into the app and then upload the photo and even then it is not always uploaded. Even when an invoice and email says DONATION, these are randomly assigned other categories or most likely not categorised at all leaving me to spend an hour categorising everything.

Really convenient, works well and good value for what you pay. Snap photos of receipts and they're linked to your account, with date, amount and vendor details added in for you.

Fantastic product for saving those annoying bits of paper and putting them away till tax time - at least they are not faded. Every business person should use this app. Thank you great product

Squirrel street is a great tool, which I've been using for a good few years now. I love it's simplicity of use and how it integrates with Xero accounting so easily. On top of this, Squirrel Street also listen carefully to your feedback for improvements and they actually implement them, which is awesome I cannot say enough good things about Squirrel Street, give them a try you won't be disappointed.

I tried another app that allowed me to keep my own archive of receipts and record the details myself. I found I only added half the receipts. I love the way any emailed receipts can simply be forwarded to my unique email address at Squirrel - takes 2 seconds- and everything else can be photographed on my phone in seconds. I am catching 100% of receipts which means the improved tax refund will more than pay for the 50c per day it costs for the subscription. It allows me to manage my accounting without employing someone else to do that for me.

Great application for any size business to have all your tax invoices scanned and integrated into your financial system.

I use Squirrel Street for all my receipt and expenses needs, it's actually so easy to use and exports my reports takes 5 seconds. I've used for over 2 years now!
