I migrated from Japan and authenticity was important when I looked for a suitable dojo to learn Aikido.When I visited Pure Aikido, and saw Marcus senesi's impressive grading papers awarded by legendary figures in Iwama Aikido, I knew I was at the right place.I was a complete beginner, expecting strict Japanese style discipline.Instead, I was welcomed by friendly and very helpful senior students.Marcus sensei is amazing, not only as an Aikido-ka, but as well as an extremely skilled teacher.Now I have been training for 4years, and visited Iwama dojo and saw the way they train.The way we train at Pure Aikido is exactly how Marcus sensei trained in Japan.I also love the Ki class on every Saturdays.I highly recommend Pure Aikido if you want an authentic Japanese training in the friendly environment, especially if you are a beginner.
