Emu Creek Camping and Day-Use Area
Great camping spot near the creek with clean, flushing toilets and an area to have a shower provided you bring your own. Plenty of sites to choose from, about 12-15. Not enough water in the creek to swim in, (at time of writing) but you can walk a fair distance up the creek bed.The 10km dirt road leading down to the campsite is a bit rough near the end and is fine for all vehicles and caravans in the dry weather, but front wheel drives and large vans may have issues getting up the steep bits after heavy rain. Also, once you're off the main highway, don't follow your Google maps, it may lead you astray due to lack of internet. Just follow the road all the way down, campsite is easy to find.

It was very beautiful here, very quiet and so much wildlife! The price is pretty decent. We managed to get there on our scooter haha. Was very tricky especially going back up the hill don't recommend going here on a touring bike/scooter. Follow the signs not the GPS.

Such a great spot to camp.We had a family trip out to emu creek for our new years weekend...Great place, plenty of spots to setup and nice clean facilities.Everyone was quite and respectful so it was a nice safe spot for families to camp.Price is really reasonable too.Little walk down to the creek and so nice for a swim and the kids can. Play on the side in the sand too....Definitely planning another trip out here soonHappy campers ;)

We first camped at Emu Creek over 35 years ago and it is still one of our favourite camping spots. Lovely to see water in the creek and hopefully we'll get more rain to stop it drying up again. A very peaceful place to visit.

This is a nice quiet campground with pretty good facilities considering how remote it is. There are cold showers, flush toilets and tank water that needs to be treated before you drink it (it has a lot of tannin in it even when treated but it is fine to drink). The creek had water in it but I suspect the flow can be quite variable so dont count on it being a good swimming hole in drier seasons. This is a good campground for families with kids as there are lots of areas to run around in and do kid stuff. We met another group of campers that also had kids and all the kids seemed to have fun together. No mobile phone reception at the campground so keep that in mind. Well worth a visit, we will be back.

Loved it. Good with the kids. Good working toilets, showers(cold) , tank water for washing up and boiling. No reception. Usually pretty quiet.

Beautiful for a quiet get away. Had seen alot of mixed reviews about wheather you could a van in. So we took a drive and yes you can aslong as you take your time. No water in the creek but there are cold showers and flushable toilets. I didnt like the size of the big ants there but you are in the middle of a forestry so they are expected. The fees are $13.10 per couple.

We really enjoyed this quiet camp spot. Toilets are clean. The only thing against it is the long, steep, winded nearly 4wd treck in ... a long torturous track to replenish groceries if needed. But if you're looking for a quiet, peaceful place - this is it. The kookaburras are very friendly.

Decide on a last minute over night camping trip with the partner and found this place online. Booked in online, packed up the car and made the trip. It was a beautiful peaceful spot. I have never seen a night sky so beautiful. Has flushing toilets and a cold shower. Fire pits and lots of shade. We stoped at the first camp ground and had a look around, called clanceys camp ground. It wasn't as nice as this one. Will definitely return soon.
