Had need of the toilets at this location! They were clean enough, but access road was more potholes than bitumen! However, I do appreciate this area was severely impacted by recent flooding, and this probably is down the priority list for repair. Weirdly my partner discovered the privacy wall between the toilet and urinal had been removed! Luckily there was a lock on the entrance door.

Looked up off leash dogs parks on the Ballina council website. They indicated that there was an area in the Bicentennial Gardens". I drove into the main car park. There was no signage showing where the off leash section was located. I walked around with my two dogs on lead for a few minutes

The extensive Bicentennial Gardens , is more described as a park & nature reserveFor the energetic .. there's a duel nature reserve walk path & a bicycle trail path .. which allows convenience to explore this impressive idea of a nature gardensFrom a sign I spotted , there's no overnight stopping at this Ballina parkFor a break .. there are a few scattered picnic tables - but no park BBQ's from what I could seeNevertheless , also for convenience , there are public toilets next to the large unsealed carparkDue to the humidity of today , I was unable to walk all the path .. notwithstanding , I will surely do itAs I would like to see more of the small but heavily vegetated lakeBicentennial Gardens is over a few kilometres out of Ballina's CBD
