Misty Valley Country Cottages
Warren and Leonie have a beautiful little corner of Denmark that they shared warmly with us over the summer holidays. On arrival we were greeted with a beautiful batch of Leonie's home baked muffins that barely survived the short trip up to our cottage!Our cottage was well-equipped to handle our three boys plus two adults for the week. It was truly a home away from home that served as a comfortable base for our adventures in the region. The swingset outside our front door was particularly beloved by the kids, and the balcony with its amazing view was the adults' favourite!Warren's knowledge and generous nature added a special dimension to our stay - he patiently showed us and our boys how to feed the chickens and collect the eggs, milk the cow, bottlefeed Walter the calf, feed the horses and rabbits, and he even saddled up Zantiki for a pony ride. Lucy the farm dog entertained us all with her antics. For my suburban-confined family, the farmstay aspect was a wonderful experience.We had barely left before we'd decided we'd definitely be back!

Clean and welcoming. Warren and Leonie have paid a lot of attention to detail in providing coconut for drawing in the birds to the balcony nestled amongst the trees and lending us their torch for a night-time search for wildlife. A nice family getaway.

Absolutely marvelous, Warren is an absolute treasure, the cottage was warm and comfortable, our grandson enjoyed feeding the animals riding the pony and the quad bike with his dad. Thanks

Misty Valley Country Cottages
Thank you Warren and Leonid. We loved our 7 night stay at Misty Valley. Having previously stayed in Denmark over a 25 year span with a previous Chalet owner we were blown away with your customer service. We loved the special touches and the fact you genuinely love having people on your property and have so many activities for the kids. Warren you were lovely to talk to and you are amazing as a person and with the kids.Definitely 5 out if 5 and see you next year.

Misty Valley Country Cottages is a perfect location for a secluded, cosy winter getaway. I remembered again what it is like to really slow down, and take it all in. Breathtaking views and wildlife, superb friendly hospitality, and the chalets are very well appointed, with everything you could possibly need. Loved the log fires and starry night skies. We will definitely be back again. Thank you Warren and Leonie. :)

Warren and Leonie are excellent hosts. Yummy gourmet platter was arranged by Leonie for only $50 and was accompanied by an excellent complimentary wine. The accom is very comfortable, cozy and the suroundings are serene. Very convenient location as well, close to town and wineries/beaches etc. Will definitely be back here.

Misty Valley Country Cottages
We had a fantastic holiday staying at this amazing property in January 2017. Our two children were kept busy every morning with the various supervised farm activities including feeding and cuddling the chickens and rabbits, horses, calf and goats, playing with the lovely farm dogs Lucy and Molly, collecting eggs and the awesome quad bike ride with Dad topped it off. The cottage was perfect - spacious, clean and well equipped - and we enjoyed our evening BBQs on the balcony with lovely valley views. The Denmark region has so much to offer - stunning beaches, family friendly wineries and breweries also offering local produce. So impressed. Thank you Warren and Leonie for being such amazing hosts! We will definitely be back!

Misty Valley Country Cottages
We stayed with our 2 kids under 6. We thoroughly enjoyed feeding the animals every morning with Warren. Leonie and Warren are fantastic hosts who are extremely knowledgeable about the area and recommended many activities for us.The accommodation was nice and private, surrounded by light bush that we were able to go exploring in with the kids. The outside balcony with table for meals had a fantastic busy view. My fire place skills were a bit lacking even though the fire was setup, but there was reverse cycle air conditioning to keep us comfortable.

Misty Valley Country Cottages
Warren has been a fantastic host. We hired both houses and the kids had a blast. They were able to feed the chooks, rabbits, horses, goats and guinea pigs every morning. Houses well appointed with AC, washing machines and all the cooking appliances you need. Have no hassles recommending.
