Mayday Appliance

I cannot understand how long it takes for the repair man to get a motor for my rangehood. It's now been over 2 weeks. So far my rangehood is pulled apart. I have rung the guy 5 times, he keeps telling me his waiting for the motor part. I rang fischer and pyckel and they have motors in stock . So I question what and why this delay.?? Not happy

Ali was very responsive to my request to fix the oven. He didn’t have the right parts and had to return the next day to get it done which he did promptly. A year later, the oven stopped working unfortunately and he replaced the part under warranty as promised at no costs - sometimes these things happens and what I appreciate is that I can fully trust him. It’s rare in the industry cos he could have just brushed me aside or demanded payment. When the Bosch help desk couldn't recommend a service agent in this regional area north of Melbourne to service my expensive dishwasher just out of warranty, I approached Mayday Appliances in Keilor Downs. They were prompt at their arrival coming the next day (even though I was out of their service area). Ali was polite, cleaned up any mess and was helpful with installing another unrelated appliance I had on site ready for upgrade. Boo to Bosch and Hooray for Mayday Appliance!

Excellent experience. Bosch directed me to Mayday appliances as a recommended service provider. Ali was professional and knowledgeable. He responded promptly to my call, gave me all of the information I needed, was flexible and reliable in scheduling a visit and addressed the problem. As the leaking machine had caused some flood issues, he also investigated this and provided guidance and information about next steps.I would not hesitate to use Mayday again and highly recommend as a professional, responsive and reliable service provider.Thanks Ali. No-one wants a leaky washing machine but when it happens, an absolute pleasure to use your company.

Update:They obviously write fake positive reviews. There is no middle ground- 5 stars or one star? Clearly fake reviews and please only take the one star reviews seriously.Avoid if you want anything to get doneDealt with one repairman who would not respond to any messages, would promise to call back to update and would not call and after several WEEKS we would have to chase up, would say he ordered a part and it should take 3-5 business days and here we are 3 weeks later and nothing has come? I had sent 8 texts over the course of a month and not one was answered, either by text or phone. They clearly do not want to work and I would avoid. Guy came once and was actually very nice so it’s a shame that it has to be this difficult.

Ali is one of the best repair men we have met. He is always friendly, knowledgeable and works very fast. And his work is always excellent. Ali explained clearly what the problem was and how we should avoid it in the future. I would highly suggest him to future customers.

Ali came to check out our washing machine and was super informative. He was honest about the costs for repair and recommended that it would be better to get a new one.Was happy to pay for his time and appreciated his honestly and experience.Highly recommend!

Total rip off!! BEWARE!!!Called them to get our little dryer repaired. They charged us $150 to take it away for repairs.Had to chase them for updates. They told us a week later they couldn’t find parts! They dumped the dryer in our front yard not even assembled. (See photos)We called another tech who fixed it for us for $70I reckon these guys charge $150 no attempt to repair and just return your item in pieces.Very disappointed!
