Pathetic. All the quotes they gave me online were more expensive than my current insurer. Then they phone me after I renewed my current insurance and tell me they can try to give me a better price over the phone. If I wanted to speak to someone I would have phoned. There's a reason people go online. Put your best price" online and you'd get a lot more business. Very amateurish. Get with the times people. The internet is the future

I consulted comparethemarket on switching my health insurance. They gave me a lower price, so I did switch. Once all done, I found myself paying even a higher premium; all because of the incomplete information I was given.

Compare the Market
Compare the Market is a spammer. Despite having told them to cease and desist from sending their unsolicited unwanted promotional emails to me they persist in doing so. They are using contact details from an inquiry I made several years ago, which I believe is highly unethical and possibly illegal. This means that if you contact them they will presumably also use your contact details to spam you for years, until you spit the dummy and demand they cease. Even then it appears they will have to be abused several times before they will action your demands that they cease.

If you give them your number, they will continue you call you until you pick up ! I went online to look for quotes, and the following days after I kept on receiving calls. I finally picked up whilst at work, and the staff member would NOT let me hang up - despite telling him numerous times that I was at work, and I had patients waiting for me. I felt he was pushing me to covert and sign on with a healthfund. I understand he may have KPI's to meet, but it would be more considerate to listen to the customer if they have stated that they do not have time to stay on the phone.

Staff dont even know the details of what they're selling. Public Liability purchased on a Friday, cancelled on the Monday all because staff aren't properly trained. My win though, will be getting it for $300 instead of $600 because compare the market don't actually compare all that many products. Don't waste your time :)

I wish they would stop with the spam calling. I've blocked and reported the numbers several times now but I keep getting calls from different extensions making it a little more difficult. I don't even know how they got my number considering it's not listed.

I used the website service thinking that I was just getting a few quotes for electricity & gas, next thing you know I have these call centre people from India trying to sell me electricity and gas plans??? I didn't know I was signing up for that!! Don't provide your details if you don't want people from call centres spamming you!

Amazing and simple way to sign up for electricity and gas supplies. Called me within 5 minutes of filling in the forms on the website. Process takes a little time while they go through all the formal stuff, but saved me from calling numerous suppliers for comparison. Team were helpful and friendly. Excellent service.

I downloaded the app just out of sheer Curiosity. You have to give them an email address AND number to find out the comparisons. Within seconds I got a phone call… wth???? While I have no issue with the person calling me I politely stated that it was intrusive to call me when I did not ask for it. I deleted the app from my phone last night. I received another call minutes later and another call this morning …. No compare the market this is unacceptable. I feel bad for your employees, however this is HARASSMENT!Review your protocol it’s abysmal.Do not bother replying to this …just fix it for future prospects.
