Great free stop, with potable water and dump point if needed. Close to Woolworths, bakery and other shops. Public toilets across the road were clean and well maintained. Free pool 3 mins drive away. Council should be proud!

Fantastic freecamp in the Main St of Proserpine. Water is available and a dump point. 48hrs for self contained set up. Easy walk to the shops.

Thank you Proserpine for allowing us to stay the night for free. I would thoroughly recommend Grand Central pub for the best steak and salad I’ve ever had at a pub, the steak was tasty and cooked to perfection but the salad far out done any salad I’ve ever had at a pub, it was awesome. Just a message to anyone that tries to stay that aren’t fully self contained, meaning no canvas, you will be moved off as security are right on to it.

Fantastic for water and dump point, can be noisy. But for a stop to be walking distance to laundromat, shops bakery etc it is great. Spent a fair bit of money in the local shops, thanks council.

Excellent camp site right in the middle of town with potable water and quiet stay behind the Church. Shame that some selfish caravan owners take up too much space to park their 4wd vehicles beside their vans rather than keep them hitched. This deprives many others from using this facility. Grateful for the provision of this facility, the park across the road which is immaculately maintained with spotless toilets and even a cold shower. Thank you Proserpine for this fabulous service to the traveling public which is much appreciated.

Great free camp behind the church with nice level sites. First in best dressed. Has potable water tap and dump point on site. Public toilets are in playground right across the road. There is also a Woolworths right across the road and various other stores and cafes in easy walking distance.

Don’t go here if you plan to sleep in your car. It is required to have built in water facilities such as toilet and shower. They won’t hesitate to fine you for trespassing if you don’t have these facilities.
