Camper van or caravan - this is amazing - right on the beach - great views, great walks - 15 mins to St Helens - best place to stay in Southern Bay of Fires (bonus = free). Drop toilets - no showers - you need your own water - you can have fires and bring pets. Overall - great place to do nothing....

Free camping available in designated areas. Drop toilets, no showers. Beautiful beach.

Good firm sandy sites, some a little sloping, many quite large and could be shared. Two clean drop toilets though one has a faulty door that can be seen into! Beach unbeatably pretty, looks like quite an undertow. 28 day limit. Many birds including superb blue fairy wren, kookaburras and yellow tailed black cockatoos. Very peaceful. Mostly bitumen to get in, with a short well-maintained gravel road. Drive slow for dust.

Lovely little spot around the bay of fires. Watch for the blue bottles on the beach (this was during February) so bring shoes/sandals at a minimum

Gorgeous beach, easily the most soft sand I’ve ever seen in my life. Camp sites close by can be hard to obtain -people often take up too much room at sites.

This spot was incredible! I mean, look at the photos! We stayed for two nights but you can stay for up to four weeks! It’s dog friendly and has long drop toilets which were very clean! The beaches are virtually empty, the rocks, the sand, the water. Amazing!!! Be warned though, the beaches are not patrolled.

One of my all-time favorite spots. Caravan spots right on the water. Lots of beach access (sometimes you have to share a entrance) parking can be limited especially if you camp in the walk in camp sites. Good fishing. New drop pit toilets. It can get a bit windy at times so be prepared.

Great beach along Binalong Bay. Worth a stop to take in the expansive coast. The water was pretty chilly.

Very nice free camp ground right behind this beautiful beach but get there early that day so you can have a choice of camp sites. It will be very busy especially long weekends and holidays.
