The worst experience I have ever had with braids. I paid more than $400 for the service and they made the first braid and asked if I was happy with the thickness and I said yes and the braids just got thicker and thicker. I wasn’t advised of how heavy they would be and how hurtful it would be on my neck and shoulders, not to mention that the braids weren’t aesthetic beautiful. I have done braids in other places before and you expect the professional to discuss what you want and advise what is better for you and your physical health, but that wasn’t the case. On the day I got those braids done I hadn’t slept at night and I had no energy to complain once the damage was already done. There was nothing they could do after 8 hours braiding. I had to seat and wait for one hour and a half after the time I booked for to have someone starting to braid my hair and I went home at 11:30 pm not happy with what I paid for. This is a significant investment we make planning to improve our self esteem and keep the hair style for a long period of time. On the following day my neck was so sore for all the 6/7 packs of hair used in my head that I had to leave work earlier to take the braids off. I could not keep it in my head, even though I paid a significant amount for the service. Later on when I messaged them asking for a refund they refused to discuss the possibility of a refund and maybe doing other braids on my hair. Im very disappointed and I would never recommend their work and customer service to anyone.

Tried to book in for 2 ppl for sewn in weaves and when I called and tried to start my inquiries I was shut down quite abruptly and was told she was with a client (so I thought fair enough she must be under the pump) and to send her a txt msg with any questions I may have and was told she would get back to me ….so I wrote a very apologetic txt for interrupting her whilst busy and proceeded to inquire about what I was after and then sent the txt EXPECTING I would get a response like I was told!……I send that txt now over 24 hours ago and STILL not even a txt or call to get back to me . Disgusting customer service and definitely will be spending my money at another African weave salon!

If I could give zero stars I would. These photos are from 4 days after service. I’ve had extensions over a year and to be accused of them falling out because I wasn’t looking after them is a disgrace. I’m very aware how to care for extensions. These are not stitched in properly they were loose upon leaving salon. I was made pay cash before she started. I travelled return trip 8hrs for this and she is now ignoring me. I want a refund and am taking legal action before someone else gets treated in such a way.I got these extensions last Saturday 5/2/22 the photos are from Wednesday 9/2/22Can clearly see they’re not stitched properly.
