Valentine Celebrations

We were extremely lucky to have Ally as the celebrant for our wedding. Due to a Monday wedding, we found it quite difficult to find an available celebrant until we spoke to Ally. From the moment of contact, Ally was extremely responsive and willing to make time for us, even taking the time to do a zoom call with us while she was on a family holiday.On the day, Ally spoke excellently and had carefully constructed a perfect re-telling of our love story. Thanks for making the Ceremony so great. Shelby and I would highly recommend Ally!

From helping Tom and I with all of our questions and queries, giving great tips to us for general wedding things to remember and to our MC’s to not batting an eyelid when our toddler would carry on on a video call because you just get it and get us. Ally was absolutely amazing!! When we first met Ally we told her about our vision for our wedding day, and as our celebrant and MC for the reception she really helped make it come to life. She got to know us so well that she was just as invested in our day as we were. Ally was organised, reliable and excellent at communicating throughout the entire process. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to marry us!

Ally just gets it right. My wife and I were so happy with Ally as our celebrant, and she was vital to our beautiful wedding ceremony. We had several Skype calls with Ally as we’re from Sydney, and on those Ally answered all of our questions, even the silly ones. All of our communication was pleasant, helpful and professional, and this is how Ally also conducted the event. We feel lucky to have chosen her.

Ally is wonderful is so many ways and made our experience magical. We knew she was the perfect fit for our marriage from the initial meeting. She catered our ceremony to our sense of humour, sent gentle reminders and checked in throughout the whole process, ensured the day was running smoothly behind the scenes and overall, we made a very special new friend. Only a few months before our wedding date, we had not yet secured a celebrant, and I happened to attend a wedding where Ally Valentine was the celebrant.Ally was natural and there was genuine sense of familiarity between her and the couple. When Ally told their story, it seemed to come from a very warm and family-like place. I actually asked another guest how they knew each other, only to find out, the couple did not know Ally outside of her capacity as their celebrant.I knew instantly that Ally was the one for us!When my partner and I first contacted Ally, her balance of warmth and professionalism made us feel immediately at ease. She was very prepared, even more so than us, and had plenty of suggestions and ideas for our big day. Ally always followed up our conversations with prompt emails detailing any step by step instructions we needed to move forward.Once we locked everything in, Ally took care of all our paperwork in no time. She provided all the legal documents we required to ensure our obligations were met, she even lodged everything for us. We didn’t have to do a thing!We had so much fun completing Ally’s couple and individual questionnaires! They asked just the right questions to help get to know us and we had a great laugh doing it.Both of us sent Ally a draft of our vows. She was super helpful and helped us to feel confident that what we wanted to communicate was true and right for us.Ally’s patience was astounding. We were sending her updates and suggestions right up until the night before the big day. She welcomed every one and made us feel we could’ve made more if need be. She truly wanted our day to be special and perfect for us and made every effort to accommodate all of our asks.On the day, Ally checked in with us to offer any last minute requests. She was genuinely excited for us and shared in our anticipation for the day. Ally also offered us calming words of support, reassurance and encouragement. She knew everything was going to be perfect!By the time we arrived at the venue, Ally had everything set up and looking beautiful, she had liaised with our venue staff, our photographer and managed to have every one of our guests fall in love with her energy and personable nature. She was our host while we weren’t there. Everybody felt comfortable, knew where they were seated, and were briefed on any duties they were allocated. Ally took care of it all.Having Ally stand with us during the ceremony was like have a third support member backing you up. Our hearts were racing and nerves were surfacing, but Ally was cool and calm. Her energy settled us and her calming voice seamlessly lead the way through each step of our formalities.Ally knew exactly when she needed to lead us and when to step aside to let our magic happen.Our vows and all our guests readings were printed and placed in stunning bound folders, ready for us to use when the time came. Ally swiftly passed them to us before we even knew we needed them.When it came to telling our love story, Ally did not disappoint. It was lovely hearing her speak so effortlessly about how my husband and I met, how we fell in love, about our proposal, and what our ambitions were as a married couple. Now I knew how the other couples felt. Ally DID know us! She had taken the time to get to know us and that’s why it felt so natural and familiar.All of our paperwork, certificate, vows and readings were presented to us at after our ceremony for us to take home as keepsake.Ally made our ceremony perfect, and more importantly, perfect for us. She was integral in the planning and design process and delivered the most personalised and intimate celebration of our love that we could have imagined.We have no reservations in whole heartedly recommending Ally Valentine to be your celebrant.
