Bush Camp Caravan Park
Where’s the good old country hospitality. I drove in to this place. And there was a number at the gate. Tried to call. No answer. So I continued driving onto the site. Found completely empty camp grounds. Not one person around. Had no service. So did the right thing and drove back up to get reception and try contact the number provided again. A young girl answered. I asked about camping and how do I pay. And was told they were fully booked. I didn’t bother telling her I’d already been down there and it wasn’t fully booked at all. Pretty poor service from a place in such a small town that relys on tourism. Wouldnt recommend.

Wonderful place to stay, there is full functioning toilets and showers with hot water too. Camp kitchen area and games room for use. Lots of space to park caravans or campers and tents too. Ground is hard so make sure you have good tent pegs and a hammer. The river is wonderful and great for swimming too. There is no 240volt power so bring a generator or battery system. There is lights in all the buildings that are solar powered and work well. A torch to walk around is a must. There is plenty of shade and I am sure you can have a fire in winter period. The swimming area is a bit of a walk, however you can drive there and there is a parking area too. The swimming area has a shaded section with a small area of fake lawn. There is also an undercover area with a BBQ and water (not for drinking), this includes a table and chairs. We stayed 2 nights and it was excellent, the kids had a great time with bikes and glow sticks at night. The night sky was unbelievable, without all the light pollution star watching was amazing. We will be back for sure. Not sure about dogs, as none of us had pets
