Ally is simply amazing! She was so understanding of our family wanting some special photos taken and fit us in to her crazy schedule. She is so easy to communicate with and will give you all the info you need before your shoot. She has an incredible gift of making everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. We had a pretty large group with crazy kids who aren't very cooperative and she managed to capture the most BEAUTIFUL moments for us that we will truly cherish! The kids loved her and so did we.Thank you so much Ally!

We booked an extended family shoot with Ally of The Joan Collective earlier this year, to capture special moments with overseas family visiting. Ally was amazing throughout the whole process - she was so responsive and helpful with my questions, super flexible with location scouting outside of her usual places (we had 2 babies involved and didn't wish to travel far from our home), lovely to spend time with during the shoot, and ahead of schedule for gallery delivery. To top it all off, Ally's photos just blew us away! She has such a warm style that is artistic but unpretentious, the colours and expressions captured are just beautiful. We are so pleased and 1000% recommend her. Thank you Ally!

Ally was so amazing! She took time to get to know us and make sure we got every shot. My daughters warmed up to her so quickly and she made the whole process so much fun. We absolutely adore our photos and will definitely getting her to do all our future photos!

I left my maternity photos very last minute but Ally kindly fit me in so I could have a very memorable photo shoot with my husband and bump. She has a very laid back and natural style to her work and I was over the moon to receive such gorgeous time pieces before our little one was born. She made us feel very at ease and has access to some beautiful locations. Would highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful photo shoot with Ally. She was professional, personal, punctual and made us all feel comfortable (even my teenage daughters who were dreading the shoot). We absolutely LOVE our photos and will definitely be using The Joan Collective for any future family photos. Real laughter and alot of fun. Such a great experience.
