Quest NewQuay, Docklands

Very disappointed with the service, we stayed for 4 days on level 4 floor and the lift was not working, we tried pressing the emergency phone but no one answered.When the lifts were not working we had to use the emergency stairs to go up and down from our floor (level 4) to the lobby. One time where we had to use the stairs, the door didn’t open so we were stuck in the emergency stair case for 30 mins and there was no reception either.When we were checking out and giving our keys back to the receptionist, we told them all the issues and the receptionist was very nice and writing it all down until some guy came out from the back when we said we will write bad reviews and said “GOODLUCK TO YOU”Extremely disappointed with the service and the lack of help we got considering we had 5 rooms booked for 4 days.

From the moment we booked with Quest to the moment we left, the service was exceptional. Not only did they save us a lot of money but also provided us a complimentary room upgrade on arrival. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, clean with all the amenities we required. We will definitely be staying here again when we visit next year. Not one bad word to say about them, everything was amazing.

Wonderful property & lovely staff. The location was great as it's very close to local attractions and easily accessible by car or public transport but also a bit more chilled as it's on the edge of the city in a waterside location. Had a few nice relaxing walks along Newquay promenade and front some great waterfront restaurants to eat at. Also had the District Docklands shopping centre just a short walk away.Two bedroom apartment was spacious & modern, great for families as it had the full kitchen & laundry facilities. Will definitely be back :)

Perfect for a trip exploring Melbourne.We checked in here to tour the city, see the sights and had a very nice experience.Booked a suite, which was exceedingly well equipped, from washer and dryer to dishwasher. The kitchen even had a French press for coffee.The staff was lovely and the location is hard to beat, what with direct access to the free city tram and a ton of great restaurants right around the corner on the waterfront.Wholeheartedly recommended.

I wish i could do less then half a star for our stay and experience. We hired 5 of these apartments for 5 days last weekend for my son’s wedding we were there in a group of 21 people which included 6 elderly people and one who needs wheel chair accessibility. The lift was the main reason that we hired these apartments for everyone’s access and convenance .We were given apartments in separate buildings even tho we booked in a group.I was on 4th floor and on the second day of our stay in the lift was broken. I was stuck there in the middle and we tried calling for help and there was no answer with the emergency button along with no mobile signals in the lift. A nice man was able to open the door somehow and we had to use the emergency stairs then we got stuck in the stairs for 30 min as there is no opening from inside.We reported and complained to the office but the only thing we received is that someone will be there to fix it before we check out but no one came to fix the lift. The entire trip was us climbing up or down 4 stories which was difficult with arthritis. We have informed the management that we have elderly people with knee issues and need wheelchair accessibility and cannot use the stairs. No response from them only a msg that we will get someone there. But nothing was fixed again, such a bad experience.At the time of checkout and returning keys we informed reception of our experience and the issues faced and we will right a bar review about our experience but the man came out and said “GOOD LUCK WITH THAT” in a condescending tone. Very dissapointingWe did not pay such a large amount to go through such a bad experience! It was suppose to be a fun and enjoyable wedding experience for the whole family but rude management made it a bad experience for us. I would definitely not recommend anyone with kids or elderly especially on a wheel chair should not stay here. Imagine if my 4 year old nephew got stuck in the lift or even in the staircase by himself. Very dangerous and potentially traumatic.

Nice and cozy room. We didnt manage to get indoor parking but got open parking few hundred meters from the hotel. Easy access to nearby tram.

We had a slight complication with our reservation as I had emailed the hotel we would not be able to come in for the first night of our 3 night reservation and would instead be checking in on Saturday night (originally checking in Friday night)There was some miscommunication and the hotel cancelled our stay when we arrived on Saturday, however the young lady at the front desk (I apologize for not remembering her name but it started with Fr") was able to straighten things out for us and get us into a room and save the day.This was our 2nd time staying at this hotel while visiting from California and it is clean

Excellent accommodations, can’t beat the location. Traveled with family and stayed in the 2-bedroom apartment. Was super helpful traveling with kids and having the washer/dryer and kitchenette, lots of dining options nearby and very close to Melbourne tram stop.
