Visited today, the person who greeted us at the restaurant entrance asked what we wanted, when we said we hadn’t made up our mind she shuffled us into the cafe. The tables were filthy and had not been cleaned in a long time. So we sat outside, the milk in the coffee was burnt and the muffin was stale and dry. We won’t be back, not impressed.

Great view but tiny portions,rediculus prices..We ordered Montage peaches and Choc mouse very disappointing,$18 for one peach and small scope of ice cream

Gorgeous location, such potential as a go to restaurant.Although enjoyed the day, the menu would benefit from some additional vegetarian options, and communication from wait staff regarding wait times for food and options could be improved.With a few changes capitalising on their strengths this would be an amazing venue

Went for the fruit picking. 5 star for the service and infrastructure. New, clean, and knowledgeable guide. Restaurant on site has amazing view (we did not try the food). 1 star for the fruit quality. Feedback to management would be to reserve the sweetest (update: ripened) and best spots within the farm for fruit picking as visitors are picking and eating on the spot.(Update): the picked fruits are quite sweet once it ripens properly.

A place of potential and missed opportunities.We often come here after a walk or kayak at Lysterfield. The cafe and local produce shop have so much potential but are let down by the lack of variety of takeaway food and poor service from untrained staff. Would love to see more takeaway food options like before with hot chips and pies etc. their fresh apple juice (when available) is refreshing and delicious.
