Dotcom Installations sent a tech out to complete a data point install. Despite being busy, service was provided on a Sunday without any additional cost.Easy to deal with, great customer service - Bob went above and beyond to ensure we were Satisfied customers.

Bob was hired via Airtasker to install 4 security cameras. He was paid well, he took the cameras home as he was unable to set them up on the day. He returned the next day to install. He then set the cameras up to his personal email address and we have been unable to manage our online security account since.We have repeatedly contacted him to fix it and he refuses to answer.Bob still has these cameras connected to his personal account and we have had to contact the police to discuss it with him further which is pending due to his ability to view our live feed.In addition Bob took home one of our cameras and refuses to return it.I recommend you avoid this company due to the lack of professionalism.

2 months ago Bob from Dotcom Installations installed 5 security cameras at my home. After a difficult install he returned the second day to finish the job. After showing me through the DVR and how to use it I asked Bob if it would notify my phone of any movement as I have safety/break in concerns. He said it will and he would go home and set that up remotely for me. I agreed as it was late.I have since had various contact from Bob via email and text messages saying he is getting onto this for me. I have contacted the manufacturer that Bob said manufactured this DVR to see if I can update the DVR myself to include push notifications. But, they said they weren't the manufacturer of this DVR and therefore couldn't help me.Bob has said he has a new DVR and camera set up ready to be installed. But he has failed to show up on various occasions to install these and therefore rectify the issue I have... Last weekend I waited for 3pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Both being no shows...I don't think a DVR with a build date of 2015 is acceptable when I was excepting a new system from a guy with 25yrs experience.And on Saturday the 18th sept 2021 one of my cameras dropped out during light winds and their I am down to only 4/5 cameras functioning only TWO months after install.I have requested a partial refund due to my dissatisfaction with the service and system provided. With no response.The excuses I received were.... My son is sick, my car broke down, the DVR hasn't arrived due to covid in Melbourne, I'm sick, my partner has the car....Also supplied with 3yr warranty that he isn't fulfilling.Please rectify this issue Bob.
