Uniting Church Op Shop Eaglehawk
This place is a massive rip off. Furniture is ashtrays overpriced, as are the clothes. I went in to look for a second pair of shoes for my son to wear at preschool and found a pair of plain black shoes (Collective brand I think?). $4, I thought, that's not too bad, until I wad in Big W and saw the same pair of shoes for $3.50 brand new. I advised the store, they couldn't care less. You can literally buy children's clothing and women's clothing cheaper at Big W, Kmart and Best & Less. Furniture is also only a little more at Fantastic curvature. Better quality at Fantastic Furniture as well. I honestly have no idea how this place is still open.

Bit of a hit-and-miss with this op shop. Depends on who is working I believe.I went in once and found a book I’ve been searching all over for, was super excited. Got to the counter and had a chat to the two ladies working there about the book and they insisted that I take the book for free, I politely declined and paid the full price because this book was priceless to me.Upon returning months later, I purchased 4 paperback books, advertised as “all paperbacks $1” all over the book room. I got to the counter and two different ladies said “oh, these don’t have a price on them. they seem in very good condition, almost brand new, we’ll do $2 each because of it”. I politely pulled them up on how paperbacks were advertised as a dollar and they instantly started giving me an attitude while claiming that they weren’t aware of it.You’d think they’d know the price of a basic paperback book in their op shop…
