Great reading the history of the town and how things got started. We loved the statues or rather wooden sculptures of people who contributed to the towns history. In fact the sculptures are so good our dog actually started barking at the figures.

I enjoy finding pieces of history like this when traveling around helps you understand a part history that shaped the town and region into what it is today .The massive log is surrounded by nicely carved wooden statues of the men that pioneered the wood industry.There is some info hear describing there Daly wood haul and there life’s in Geeveston area.Talks about the timber mill which operated in 1902 and what it consisted of and manufactured.You can also sit and enjoy lunch hear as table and seating is provided.
