Camping Lake Rosebery Foreshore
Awesome spot in the 'wilderness' but not too inconvenient. The spot we used was tight, we only have a small trailer but that's all that could fit. We were able to bring out own wood and have a campfire right on the waters edge. Would easily be a 5 star location if it was appropriately developed as off grid bush camping. It doesn't have toilets(doesn't need them) as they are only 3min back up the road in tullah. I love this location for its views and privacy. There are a number of spots dotted around the lake, but are hard to get in summer as the lake is great for a swim/kayak and fish.If you stay, please do the right thing. Don't damage the bush, don't leave a mess and take everything with you, including the memories

Limited to 4 or 5 sites. No facilities provided except the peace and quiet and the view.

Loved it! Very peaceful, calm warm water in the Lake. Bandicoots visited dusk and dawn each day.

We decided to try this camping spot after not enjoying a previous location the night before, we were not disappointed. It was quiet popular when we got there but we were lucky enough to setup right near the water away from everyone else.Popular for boating and fishing, the water is cool and refreshing!Insects weren’t an issue and the view was absolutely stunning! No amenities but the camp is close to some local towns, also we had internet connect, which is good and bad at the same time.

This was the best wild night we had out in Tasmania. If you can get the spot at the end of the track on it's own you will be treated to wonderful lake vistas morning and night. No facilities at all so you must be self contained.

It's a beautiful spot, just not really a compground like most others (even free), not much room just a couple spots where you can setup, bit dark and danky, but still a good option for a few nights! Toilets are a few minutes drive away in tullah where the old tram thingy is. Great coffee at the cottage shop thing across the road!

The area is beautiful - stunning views across the lake to the mountain- particularly pretty in the sunset. There are around 4-5 spots to camp. Of these, one is amazing and has the most incredible views - if you can get that you are winning! The other spots are small and muddy with no view.

This is such a beautiful place to camp and so peaceful the view of the lake and surrounding mountains is spectacular and the sunset are magic. The campsites consists of a variety of level and rough ground supporting a few campers and around 2 individual close by river spots one straight on from entry track which has just enough for 1 possibly 2 camper vans and the other is to the far right as you enter. The trees provide a good wind brake and cosy surrounding. If you are lucky enough to get up early and catch the early fog and still water it makes for a beautiful photo creating a panoramic mirror. This is a free camp and has No toilets or tables or water no bins so bring all you need and please take all your rubbish.
