Booked an appointment with Trevor to assess my rain water pump which had stopped working. Dave arrived at my house and took the pump away, making it very clear he would call me the next week to discuss options (i.e. fix or replace, quotes for additional parts) after he had a look inside. I never heard back. When I followed up, Trevor told me they had already started repairing it. It took many further follow-up attempts to secure basic information about what was happening, as well as a sufficiently detailed quote. They made the decision to both charge for the repair work and quote for a new pump, instead of giving me a choice before proceeding (the prices were certainly comparable). The lack of clear and timely communication was disrespectful and made what should have been a straightforward process a pain. At no point was I offered even an explanation for the lack of communication. I decided to leave it at the repair and conduct no further business with them. I give 1 star to the company as a whole but 4 stars to Dave for at least eventually bringing back a working pump.
