Pineapple Hotel
A lively bar/bistro with lots of beers on tap and sports to watch. There’s a good selection of meals. I ordered the Parma which was crunchy, well cooked and pretty tasty. The burger would’ve been better if the tomato wasn’t straight from the fridge. Overall a great casual place for drinks and hanging out with mates

They recently hosted the POWERS beer relaunch! Great back bar area, plenty of room for a couple of hundred people. Canapes were excellent and the beer was better! Powers is back!

Can't really complain about a $13 lunch special. Great size meal. The burger was good for the price & chips were yum. Nice set up. Parking wasn't great as they have a small car park & I had to drive around twice to get street parking on a Wednesday but it's a tricky location.

Discovered this little dinner special by pure accident. Got the $13 plus $6 for prawns 200grm rump special. Cooked medium rare as asked, salad fresh and chips hot and crunchy. Simple food done well.**UPDATEWent back and had a Parmy and Lasagna. Both pretty solid again.

Caught up with a friend for lunch at the Pineapple steakhouse area, it was great! Service was fantastic, staff were friendly and helpful but not in your face... food was good (my friend had the Atlantic salmon and loved it, I had veggie burger, it was good)Not many vegetarian options, but it is a steakhouse! Good atmosphere, comfortable temp and quiet enough to talk, rather than yell. I'll definitely go there again.

Four friends shared a Saturday lunch last Saturday 22/4/23. The meals were excellent value, no complaints re what we ordered. The meals were quite large. nicely presented. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a huge smile from the waiter who then made us all drinks including a very specific tea order which he did perfectly..well done. The female waitress had a big smile ALL the time was friendly and also very helpful addressing dietary concerns of one of our diners and worked with the chef to replace items she could not eat. Kudos to both. It was not very busy but these staff made our meal. We will certainly recommend and be back. Thanks

The food was really good, it just need some small adjustments for my taste but not a big deal, a little bit less of butter in the bread an some more minutes in the oven, less onion in the burger, because it’s too sweet (I just took it out) The steak was in the point and the burger was good as well. I love when I go to a restaurant and they have paper straws, that shows somebody is trying to do something better for the environment!

Great local pub with nice outdoor seating area overseeing a park.Had an early dinner on a Sunday evening at “The Pinney”.The Sunday roast ($14) and the Sunday special 300gr Rumpsteak ($19) were very good and definitely value for money.The beer selection is quite good too, although there is no clear price list to be found. We ended up spending nearly as much on 2 pints of beer as for the two dinner plates.
